The thing that confuses me is the
disconnect between what the manager
and players say,and what is actually
happening.

Elliot Watt said Macca makes you want to
try harder,but I'm not seeing it.If they are
trying harder then they are not trying hard
enough or they just aren't good enough.
If they aren't good enough neither is our
recruitment!

 

It's a case of do as I say not as i do with fordy but once he's backed into a corner (a bit like he is now) he goes very quiet and hopes it goes away.

 

Agree that it’s very improbable either Ryan or Stuart will be replaced (unless new owners come in), but if as you mention things are the same in February we’ll be odds on to go down and then out.

 

I totally agree , we may still be in this position come Feb. I don't think we will. There is enough in this squad to get away from danger, even if that is achieved on the last game of the season. If we are still bottom 2 come Feb, that will be the time for Mr Sparks to show real leadership and who is to say any incoming coach or manager , can not get a better tune from this current bunch of players.

It is totally pointless for anyone outside of the club , to point fingers and call people happy clappers or yes men.
I don't believe that anyone inside the club , can be happy about the current situation.
A lot of the issues are beyond there control, Rahic, Covid , Salary caps and the crazy amount of injuries , mostly to our attacking options.
I know other teams have similar problems, but i don't think any have had the shit storm we have.

Also, please tell me, if you'd had a promotion at work and then, a few days later saw a comment "Fordy Out" splashed on the internet, how would you feel? I don't know Ryan, and neither do you. The guy has been in the job two minutes and you're already making an unjustified statement, behind the safety of a keyboard. You've made a similar statement that @wetherbywhaler has pulled you up on. We're all waiting, Fordy.

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing. I dont recall any decenting voices , when we reached the playoff final under our european owners. In fact we all thought it would be the next step forward. How wrong we were.
As someone with your supposed business accumen , you should know that running a business is not a walk in the park, especially if the CEO is an absolute power mad crackpot and it can take years to turn that company around again.
I just dont think name calling brings anything to this discussion.

 

@andyc, I wouldn't expect an answer. Fordy's bluff has been called and he's busy trying to fill in the big hole he's dug for himself.

 

I don't expect an answer. It would just be nice if we could all discuss things without name calling and chidish comments.
We all afterall have one thing in common here. To see Bradford city win football matches , hopefully entertain us in the process and improve the clubs standing from all aspects.
