    Here's what happened. Strap in.

    The Ballad of Millario's Meter

    There's a 'shared' meter (eon) for communal areas - hallway lights etc. An eon engineer came out to do some work on it & asked me to turn my mains off, to which I duly obliged.

    30 mins later I nipped out to see if I could turn it back on (football manager can drain a laptop v quickly) and he said summat along the lines of 'you didn't turn your mains off', but not as aggressively as that sounds.

    I showed him that I had, which on inspection he confirmed, advising that there was still current going to my meter, and deducing that it must be from the neighbour's usage as he hadn't managed to get them to turn theirs off.

    I logged this with my supplier, and here we are.
