    The green arrow only takes you up or down the page so shouldn’t delete your post unless you are then touching something else too

    Yes, that's the one. It usually appears if I'm editing the text I've typed. When I then try to press the screen at the end of the text to continue typing the green arrow appears and i click it inadvertently.

    No, the back button is on the other side of the screen.

    Mines takes me back to the home page and no, it's not hiding on top of the back button.

    Sometimes part of my post autosaves but usually I've just made a short, sarcastic remark so it doesn't save.

    It's usually somewhere in the text box as it generally happens when I'm editing something I'm currently typing.

    It absolutely can't take you back a page as it does not have that ability.

    The page has two #xenforo anchor links embeded in it, one at the top and one at the bottom.

    When you click the button its sends a request to follow the link along with a variable of top or bottom to the the javascript which triggers a no-reload page load using javascript and to the relevant anchor link . It CAN NOT reload the page and certainly CAN NOT load another page. If you are experiencing it going back to the home page then you are clicking something else that is causing that not those nav buttons

    As NM said, it also usually happens to me when I'm editing a post on the text box before posting it. The green arrow appears so you click it by accident. It takes you to the top or the bottom very quickly and then you click something else by accident which redirects you.

    It's clearly an issue for a few people here, not something to be just dismissed.

    Possibly, I'm just explaining what happening when I try and edit my posts. It happens reasonably often and unless you type very slowly you lose a good majority of the post you're trying to make.

    Just done it again in a reply to Asafa. I only pressed the green arrow once (by accident) and its taken me back to the home page and I've lost my post.

    The green one definitely takes to to the main page, not just scrolls up or down.

    I feel left out ... I dont have a green arrow anymore on mobile

    But I do on the PC.. weird

    This also happens to me a fair bit, it's very annoying. The arrows appear and I get redirected back to the home page.

    Ok I have a version of the Dark theme without them. You can select it in the style drop down at the bottom and select the Dark without Quick Page Jumps option

    As I did this in my own time so haven't billed Karl if anyone wants to say thanks my Buy Me A Coffee page is in my signature
