Half last seasons income?

Its been a bit of a mooted campaign - where was the letter in the post from the CEO, and a personal email perhaps. I found out on here when there was a claret and amber update on tickets.

Have they done enough to bang the drum ? Its a hard sell for them right now but could more have been done to persuade people to renew? In fairness not that much, why buy 4 tickets when 1 ifollow will do. suspect the ground is gonna be empty with most that bought sat in-front of a computer.

Lets hope its a drum roll and 10k plus pretty soon.

 

It'll be less than half as I doubt the ifollow element is coming for free. I may be wrong but I suspect the club will be forking out a % of each ST sale over to ifollow..

 

Big dilemma for me as it stands due to the restrictions and likelihood of alternate games I might only see 5 games live. I can't do midweek games due to work and family commitments. I am just hoping they incorporate i follow into the ST otherwise i can't see the point of me buying this season. That would mean for the first time since I started watching city 40 years ago I wouldn't have one

 

The i-follow IS included with the ticket..!!

Ifollow is guaranteed for home matches whilst limited capacities are in place. Also Ryan Sparks has mentioned that games will be split as fairly as possible and not simply Amber, Claret, Amber, Claret etc. We have 8 home Tuesday night so presume they'll be split in half so each half will get 4 Tuesday games each leaving 6 or 7 Saturday games plus first dibs on buying match tickets for any games in the other half ahead of non-season ticket holders and suspect season ticket holders will get a bit of a discount compared with non-season ticket holders.

 

Seems so, tbf I haven't been on here as much as I used to be too many other commitments at present.

 

comes back to my point they havent made it clear enough Re IFollow and its confusing esp if you arent online much or not computer savvy. Making it easy to understand = better ST sales figures, versus i prob wont go and know nothing about ifollow so wont bother.

 

I think it's clear enough if you actually look, problem is they haven't really been marketing it very well.

 

Bit of both maybe not been marketed enough i agree, my old man was ready to sack it off for this season as he didnt feel he would want to be there in person, until i talked him through i follow and that it was easy to watch on his pc.

 

You see i think this is the road the club should have gone down. Anything under 7000 and those who buy rightly get to see every game live. It seems daft having a split if there is no need. We would look quite silly putting a specific game on general sale and only 1000 extra tickets get sold from the 3500 available.

I reckon this approach would have pushed more sales aswell due to folk not wanting to miss out.

The third point of this is people who will now pay 150 for the half season ticket and now having to 25 quid walk up fee for the remaining 9/10 games not on their half of the draw

 

I'm guessing the split is to try and recoup as much revenue as possible. I'd prefer the system you quote but the way the club are doing it allows them to maximise income by effectively making it a half season pass. I have access to ifollow for away games and most of the time i switch off bored. I'm not a football on TV person to be honest. Prefer to go to a local live game and have a pint.
