I’m guessing for the odd number they will be hoping by end of season we will be back to full capacity.

I think there are 13 Saturday, 1 Good Friday and 7 Tuesday night matches, presuming Harrogate is first match.

There is also the issue of what if we get to third round of the FA Cup so a Saturday league game is moved to midweek, is it just tough luck?

What ever happens there will be moans and complaints but I suppose that is what keeps this board going

Presumably if things are a bit more normal or not people who have season tickets will be guaranteed tickets for any possible big cup tie

 

Wasnt ryan sparks saying on twitter he doesnt expect to be in a position this season where all season tickets will be in use at the same game or have i misintepreted it

 

I still think if we do get a glamour tie should we reach the 3rd round they would look at who purchased a ticket for earlier rounds should we be drawn at home. A bit like the priority away they have a few days to purchase then open to all season ticket.

 

We ain't gonna sell anyway last years total. With all that's going on dont think we'll sell much more than 7000 so if u buy one you shud be able to go to every game never mind all this claret and amber bollocks

Luton are nothing like us, their history since the start of the second world war sees them as playing predominantly in the top two divisons, whereas we are completely the opposite, that and being down south are two reasons why they can afford to charge what they do. Also, the waiting list is exclusively down to having a small capacity, nothing else. Thats not to say we can't compete, our record over the last 10 years is way better then theirs bar this season in the championship. They just hit on an up and coming manager that gave them some success, we had a similar manager but he saw what was coming. Don't underestimate the damage Rahic ad to a lesser extent Rupp have done to this club, setting us back years ruining all the hard work done by Parkinson.

I do agree to an extent on the season ticket prices, for instance having 13,000 season ticket holders but only bringing in the same revenue as a club with 7,000 holders but with higher prices is hardly a success story. But our mantra is now pile it high sell it cheap, once you drop it ain't ever going back up because your fans now see it as the norm and in truth you do get what you pay for.

 

how does paying a tenner get you into all the games?

 

As I understand it if there is capacity in your opposite colour you can buy a ticket for a tenner

 

Completely agree, we don't have enough season ticket holders to cover 14,000 tickets. Only my opinion but much better to have sold the 7,000 on a first come first served basis, then bang it on ifollow for those not able to go. With all whats going on with the virus i'd be surprised if we got anywhere near 10,000 requests.

 

Couple of things, they got less than 7,000 last season. Looking at their pricing structure a majority of tickets will not be adult prices. So the average price will be less than £300 so back to £2.1m. Very similar to ours.
