    Pakistan just bowled three no balls in an over. Would like to see if any bets are down for that....Zak Crawley is having a beast of an innings!

    Zak Crawley looks a class act. Very strong driving off the back foot, which is rare these days. Only 22, a very promising future I reckon. I wonder whether he would suit being an opener?

    He looks very good. I saw him on the highlights against South Africa in the winter. He looked competent on their wickets but didn't stand out much. That's changed!

    He reminds me a bit of Cooke. He's disciplined; he's dogged and knows when to leave the ball alone. But he's good both on the front foot and the backfoot. He should have a good future.

    And that's to take nothing away from the Pakistan bowlers. They have a good bowling group and so far I've been impressed particularly with both Shaheen and Naseem who should both have a good long career at test level.

    Batted them out of the game already, great performance by these two. Hope they can keep going. Pakistan aren’t a bad side either, we’ve done well this summer baring the first test against West Indies where we made poor selections.

    Crawley should be number 3 for me. Burns and Root open.

    This has been absolutely magnificent by Crawley and Buttler. The only bitter sweet is that Foakes is a much better keeper but these barring displays is keeping Buttler in.

    Yes they're decent side but look fragile when the going gets tough. Shaheen bowled three no balls in one over yesterday. Mentally he had gone or he had put a bet on....

    Agree about Foakes. I would play them both. Buttler is good enough with the bat to be in the side as a batter only on merit, he has adapted to test match batting well now. Foakes to keep wicket. Sibley and Crawley to open and move Pope and Root up the order. Mind you, this is the last test of the summer anyhow!
