The PL and EFL aim is but I have never ever been convinced it's Boris's aim..never. Pilot scheme didn't include football and why 3 months to study the results.

    Boris is a liability mate.

Other counties are doing a covid certificate.

Other counties are now starting to get their track and trace app going.

As I say I don't know what Boris and that grim whipper Whitty are wanting but I am in the age bracket you talk about and I just do my thing.

    Care to elaborate?
So the strategy is to exclude over 70s. Especially Bronco. Why he should be so lucky I’m not sure. Anything else or is this a 1 point manifesto?
to not have to watch the rubbish we normally serve up!

So you critise the government saying they don't do this they should do that then actually admit you do your own thing anyway so what you mean is as long as it doesn't affect you you don't give a toss but I'll spout what they should be doing ... Classic fordy

The government are not giving no end goal. First it was protect the NHS which we have done.

    Now what is it?

So yes I continue doing what I need to do. Not wasting time hoping for this government to lead when it clearly can't. I live in Leeds and can do what I want. Come to Leeds tonight and see what I mean. We all know why Bradford has a problem but I can't blame the Asian Community either.

The government needs to say what they want the outcome to be now and the R rate lowering isn't enough.

People urgently need to understand that these MP's are not losing their second homes. These MP's are not losing their jobs. These MP's can afford to pay the bills.

So, unless you want to struggle in life you have to do your own thing now.

It's all about following your team, if I'd wanted to follow a more sucsefull team I would have done hat years ago, you have to take the few good times with the many bad times.

I'd take league one/league two for a couple of seasons or was it just the one/Premiership football to our history mate, you'll get no sympathy from old Bronco ;).

I was sympathising mate, as you say you could of chosen "better", as could I given that Spurs and Arsenal were relatively easy to get to, however I got stuck with a life long WH grandfather.

Yes I know you was mate, back in the day possibly Huddersfield or Burnley were within my catchment area who were relative big hitters, Leeds were just on there upward journey under Revie.

It will be a season ticket at VP or nothing from my personal point of view. Part of my working arrangements are that when Bradford are at home and I'm going, I get the afternoon /evening off. If its just tv, then this arrangement doesn't work.

Stop thinking it about going against people. The problem is the government not showing an out.The government not telling people straight. I want over 70's to attend. I want all fans to be able to attend but the data shows over 70's die mostly from this so we have to work with the bloody data because the government is clueless to what their objective is.

This lets stop everyone is damaging and it's going to create tension. Use the data if you are that concerned. Can't please everyone. If over 70's have to take a hit from not going then fine and I sure many would but it's not going to work if Bradford or any club want to please everyone. It's all about just getting fans back in now in any way.

Anyway, no deaths from Covid in any Yorkshire hospital. As I keep on saying what is Boris and Whitty trying to achieve with this virus? I don't get it? People are going to catch it but it was about stopping the death rate which we are doing..So just let businesses, sport just do what they need to do now. Let fans back of all ages!!!

Absolutely nailed it Fordy ! Lower league football needs fans unless the Govt are going to support every single club in the lower strata of the Pyramid through next season and beyond ?

Frankly I am sick to the back teeth of bungling Boris and Dr Death. Its a virus that affects less than 1% of the population AND we know who they are !.

So stop all this bloody lock down nonsense and lets all get back to life. Its like I am living in a zombie world the sort I have seen in a dream. Where things kinda resemble normality but its far from normal.

How long are we going to perpetuate this ?; businesses in limbo or gone to the wall., social cohesion disintegrating daily, kids education wrecked; folk needlessly passing not due to the virus but due to failure to be treated early enough ( but still being listed in Covid stats); mental health of 1000s destroyed. All thats far far more of a threat to us than bloody Covid.

Like the new local lockdown the majority of us are lumped in with the minority that cannot or will not understand the rules ? Yet they are the most vulnerable group. ! Is everything to be sacrificed on the alter of not offending people ? Its about using common sense; clearly in Scotland and France they can trust their citizens to exhibit some ? .

Anywhich way we need to get back to our lives and learn to live alongside the virus pending a vaccine. This includes getting crowds back to sporting events. I follow (pun not intended) Speedway, our entire season has been cancelled ! There has been one meeting in the UK at Scunthorpe in March !. Riders are effectiveky self employed and the majority of them racing here in the UK have and will not earn a bean till next year !

This cannot go on and that includes talk of Citys plans.? Its simply not feesible for a lower league football club to exist of subs to Ifollow ? I agree the take up will not be in the realms of what the club would need. How many are desperate to sit at home watching 4th tier football ? It is entirely different to going to the match itself. There are a whole bunch of factors that make going to live football what it is. Very often it is more than just a game.

I think the Gov & Local Authorities need to act and act now decisively ! Scrap lock down and run a campaign based on common sense. Place on the record firmly and squarely who particularly needs to think serious about how they go about life - they know who they are and if they dont theyve been living in a cave the past 5 months !. Then let the rest of us get on with the rest of our lives and save ourselves from a far more worse fate !

Lets get back in the game !

    100% spot on.

When you think about the Bradford new lockdown. The council has postcode data. Now if for example BD3, BD4, BD7 (Just using these) have high infection rates then lockdown them area and police them. Educate them. Don't punish those in the rest of Bradford.

However, common sense is needed. We need to learn to live with this virus and I wouldn't lockdown anything! The core is outweighing the problem now. Unemployment, mental health, Depression - people are going to suffer.

It's all going to kick off soon and that will be on Boris!!

Look at the stats the virus is to all intents and purposes affecting less than 1% of the poplulation. So why can the rest of us not just get on with our lives and salvage whats left of the economy ? Everyone knows who the vulnerable people are and some have used their common sense but some clearly have not !. Theres talk of introducing effective marshall law to head off social unrest. I would bring the army in to the areas where people ignore the rules create strategic lockdown in those areas. Almost "no go zones" then prevent those people moving around freely. That way the rest of us who have adhered to the rules can get back to our lives with some degree of assurance.

Even if say it meant the clubs leaving their own grounds to play and to get fans to games away from higher infected areas ? Now have I hit on an idea there ? Maybe it would be safer if we did a ground share away from Bradford ?

    Agree pal.

The government say that they have the testing capacity. So if you want to go to the match you have to be tested. Tested 48 hours before the game and show your proof to the club along with ID with address details. I have used Eddie Hearn a boxing promoter as example. No ID, No Covid info, No season ticket, No address - no entry! Why are we ruining the economy. No need.
