Now just one win away from being in the same division as City next season.

Jack Diamond showed us all just what lower league wingers should be doing
    Good player that lad
Best of luck to them in the final

Jon Stead held the ball up well when he came on second half

Long trip down to an empty Wembley next weekend. Seems madness playing it there to an empty stadium

I agree but the players won't see it like that
Imagine telling the grandkids i played at Wembley
Probably the only chance most of the players will get to do it

Good luck to Harrogate in the final, however, I think Notts Co will beat them

I hope Notts beat them. Propper football club that got shafted by a dodgy owner and never recovered. They should still be a league club and hopefully they'll put that right in the final.

I agree about Notts County but am drawn to Harrogate. Can they get their ground ready in time for September or will they have to ask for away games to start the season

Harrogate finished above county from less games and they have a great chance I think they deserve it
County spent money they didn’t have and ended up out of the league there is a lesson there

I think the world is a better place with Notts County in League Football. I visited there many moons ago and it had a very proper football feel to it.

    The ground is ready.
They've just built a new stand to make capacity up to 5k with segregation for away fans.
They'd just need to lay a new pitch which they already have plans for

It was the pitch I was talking about. Wasn’t sure if 6 weeks was enough to dig up the current pitch, put the required drainage etc in and lay a new pitch to be ready for September

Hope Harrogate do it. And that our last away game is at theirs. Hopefully we will have a vaccine by then and away fans will be allowed.

It would be a struggle for tickets .
    Think they'd give about 800 - 1500

Public health England have made them cancel tomorrow.
They've already got the big screen up all the bubbles set out and bought all the beer and food .
They now have to give everyone their money back too.
Big blow for the club 20200801_160900.jpg

Not sure how they thought they could do it without getting it cleared first

If they played at a stadium like Valley Parade it would ruin the reward for next season.

They got permission from public health England.
They then changed their mind after Fridays announcement by boris then told hgate town at lunch time today !!

They did get it cleared first !

Bbc and itv were gonna be there advertising it as one of the first sporting events with fans..

You were in pods of 6 .
You all had to arrive together.
Everyone had temp checks and had to leave address and phone number.

You were allocated a square on the pitch and could only leave your area for the toilet.
Drinks and food would of been ordered on an app ad delivered to your pod .
These were all the guidline PHE set in place for the event to be approved .
They set it all up, Stocked the bar and bought the food it was checked and given the go ahead so they sold tickets.
Only for it to be withdrawn the 24hrs later after all tickets were sold.
