    I do hope our new kit looks nowt like the training gear . The club at present is been run like a circus but dressing the players up as clowns is ridiculous even if some of the perform like it

    It's a a matter of scale. Avec are better suited to smaller clubs needs. The 'big' clubs who sell hundreds of thousands, if not millions of replica shirts around the world can have bespoke designs and customised colours from the likes of Nike. Smaller clubs such as ours who might sell a few thousand replica shirts each season would have to make do with designs from the Nike standard pattern book and standard Nike colours which are close enough but may not be exact. Subsidiaries of the big producers, such as Avec are there to service the smaller clubs with more flexibility in the design of the kit.

    They are probably still manufactured in the same sweat shops which produce Nike gear!

    ps There is some other connection between us and Avec but I've forgotten what it is.

    They make kits for Boro Ranager, Durham Utd. We are their biggest football client by miles now.

    The likes of Sunderland have binned them off.
