But surely not a total refund? Things are tight enough for the lower league clubs as it is. I'll make sure that I'm in the queue for a season ticket next season a.s.a.p..

Not me. If we paid what most other clubs fans pay for season tickets, then maybe a pro rata refund would make sense.

I presume if refunds are offered it will be on a pro rata basis?, which means about £30 refund?

I won't be. I get 3 season tickets for under £200, me and my 2 boy's, no way will I ask for a refund on that.

Absolutely not! We're lucky to have such cheap prices. The club can keep it and I'll purchase my next season ticket as soon as I can.

    Extraordinary circumstances,win some lose some.
I'm just glad the seasons over and we don't have to suffer a team of under performing, so called professional footballers week in week out.

The club needs to do the right thing and offer everyone their money back. In fact my should give everyone their money back.

Then if fans want to use that money to support the club somehow then fine but it can't keep the money as that's just wrong.

I'm not sure anyone's mentioned a full refund, just a partial one for the games not played. I won't be asking but have no problem with anyone that does, I don't know other peoples financial situations. Mine is very tight but not to the poi t where I need the money but some might.

What about away match tickets purchased, who gets to keep it if a refund isn't claimed back?

Its about the principle. Your situation could get worse(hopefully not) and I am sorry but Rupp isnt thinking about you and your family. Plus how do you know a new season ticket won't cost you £200-£250

Are Bradford City going to scrap the £15 charge if your season ticket gets stolen? Point is everyone situation is different and the club needs to offer or just give people their money back.

Unless Bradford City tell the fans the truth about their financial state over the next 3 months then why shouldn't fans get their money back? Just heard the Forrest Green CEO say that they are digging up the pitch, fixing the drains, relaying the pitch, putting more cameras in for digital viewing and getting ready to play behind closed doors. It don't sound like a club in trouble so why would their fans not take a refund?

Bradford City CEO(RHODES) needs to come out and tell us all what is what for the future because what he is known for (cheap season tickets) won't work in these times. Time to be honest.

Just a reminder. Bradford City is not a charity, It shouldn’t be treating customers any different to any other leisure company.

The club should be contacting each customer and exploring options. Refund, credit voucher or forgetting about it.

90% of fans would probably just give the money up, I would, but then I’m not a ST holder, so not really in a position to say.

Interesting comment Fordy considering that the vote as of now is 20 to 1 against. So either you have not voted or you voted against. Clearly your vote is your private business but it does look anomalous.

Agreed. I think refunds should be available because right now there will be some who need every penny they can get. Personal life is more important than football.
Personally I don’t want a refund, and sure most others will be the same, but some people may need it - as you say we don’t know everyone’s personal circumstances.

I expect the club to ensure those that want a refund can have one.

I have already decided not to accept one.

Unlike @Fordy117@Fordy117 this club means more to me than being a business. I have lost count the amount of money spent over the years following the club tickets, travel, food, beer etc and not once did I ever consider the wealth of the owner when deciding to attend matches or spend my money.

To me I do not see the club as a business its a large family of like minded people who want to follow the club and see some good times and success again. It's that vain hope that keeps all football fans coming back week on week.

Of course those that need the money for personal reasons is understandable.

We had five fixtures left to play at home. Orient -14/3/2020; Macclesfield-21/3/2020; Colchester-4/4/2020; Crewe-13/4/2020 & Walsall-25/4/2020.

The cost of a Season Ticket for most is £150.

There are 23 League Home fixtures a season.

The cost per game is £6.52(17391304!).

    Five times £6.52(17391304)=£32,60

If the club were to refund this, then probably an admin charge would be applied. So potentially a refund of around £25.

For those who like a drink and smoke cigarettes (on average), that is about one packet, four pints and not forgetting the ubiquitous packet of crisps!

I really don’t think it is worth the hassle, especially if like some on here, you are the owner of a highly successful business, the time spent trying to get the money back, could be employed in income generation for your own business! ;)

I think the club will give the fans an option , and in the present pandemic and money being tight etc no stigma should be attatched to anybody wanting money back as @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam said i too have been going to VP since 1965 , i've spent £1000s following them home and away , i live a fair distance away but still travel to home matches . I dont care who is in charge at the club , as far as i'm concerned i'm supporting an instituation i've followed the majority of my life and will continue to do so .

The club has been paying wages of a few thousand pounds a week for the last few years, the CEO is worth a few million as is the owner. Anyone wanting a refund no matter how small are more than entitled to it, especially for the shite we've been served up for the last couple of years.
