    I'll add

    Sunderland
    Stevenage
    Cheltenham

    * Bradford City (moaning about play off cost like Cheltenham. So if I include Cheltenham who moaned then I have to include Bradford.

    * Porr Vale.. sorry but like with us I just don't believe you pass on getting into the play offs.

On the plus side, at least if we go pop and out of existence you can find something else to moan/hate about, every cloud......

Not been on here much but some things never change (other than 10+ adds jumping all over the place, poor experience), I've read a few threads and you've contradicted yourself a few times, pick and choose what ya like when ya like and enjoy

Just read on the BBC sport website that the EFL have decided on promotion and relegation if the season is curtailed. Would Harrogate Town be promoted under this scenario, and did Harrogate Town have an inkling of this when the ground "improvements" that Wetherby Whaler saw were undertaken?

Full marks to city for being one of only two league two clubs to insist relegation should happen this year and it looks like it’s happening

I don't think so, I believe they have just been diligent. They got Planning Consent to increase capacity last year I think and took the decision to do the work when they were in a good position in the NL this time. As their season progressed and league position looked promising they started talking to EFL on such as floodlighting levels, the replacement of the pitch and so on. I believe they have just made sure they can qualify to go up on ground standards if the situation arises. Well done them.

Bradford City v Harrogate Town. In a league game.

    How depressing.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Whether they can get sufficient Championship clubs to agree it and for the PL to accept it is another thing. It's not the first time they've threatened this. On one occasion when FFP was being introduced, they threatened a tie-up with the PL when the EFLwanted a salary cap as we now have in Div 1 and Div 2. The Championship clubs saw themselves as PL-lite and wanted a similar type of FFP to the PL's which wouldn't constrain their playing budgets as much.

In the end, they got what they wanted from the EFL. They also got short shrift from the PL who didn't want their TV broadcasting arrangements to be diluted by having to share it more equally with the second tier!

Leeds and a few other Championship clubs - West Brom and Villa (at the time) - are still sore about the way the negotiations for EFL broadcasting contract were handled and how it is distributed between the clubs. They wanted a bigger share for themselves at the expense of 'smaller' Championship clubs and Div 1 and 2 clubs. That of course didn't happen. So they masterminded the resignation of Sean Harvey to get their own back. Shame!

Many pro footballers will be out of the game or into the non leagues next season. At League 1 and 2 level, clubs will trim squad sizes and instead of carrying ~25 players, it'll be 20ish. That's somewhere in the region of 200 squad spaces gone.

I think you can safely take Tranmere off that list.

I don't recall GR suggesting any tie-up with the PL for Championship clubs. If anything, he wanted quite the opposite. He was negotiating on behalf of the EFL in totality to go their own way and do their own thing with OnDigital, quite separate from the PL and Sky.

That's what I was meaning the Championship becoming Premier League 2.
When he addressed the meeting he said it would be separate from leagues 1 & 2 there was a lot of unrest from the fans there, they were concerned our past history had shown those divisions made up 75/80% of our time in the Football League.
