I think it's wrong for Bradford to do it now Ryan was mouthing off about how fortunate we are to have an owner that backs us.

    Backs us... ok then!

How Ryan talked he said Rupp backs us then said going on about expenses.. and it's liked we are not backed at all.

But its exactly the same difference from Southend to Exeter as it is Southend to Bradford, so where are the benefits in this example?
And as I said to you before, why should league one teams be disadvantaged in a merger of the two leagues?

Well something for someone with time on their hands, work out the amount of miles between the grounds in the respective divisions. The unknown factor and one which is probably the most influential is that more "occasional" fans will travel to grounds that are within reasonable travelling distance thus increasing gate revenue (which we are told is virtually all that most clubs are run on) and all the additional revenues having extra fans in the ground brings.

Of course Rupp is backing us. We have no income coming in for the foreseeable future, but we still have expenses. We will at some point in the coming weeks and months have to assemble a squad of players, without Rupp, that wouldnt be possible

Personally, I would love to see new local owners buy him out, but that isnt going to happen anytime soon.

On a footnote to ownerships, director of football etc, I see that ex Wigan chairman David Sharp has been appointed DOF at Mansfield.

no disadvantages only savings for fans and club all matches in fairly easy reach. In this day and age it doesn’t make sense for fans to trail halfway around the country there will be no drop in standard and still be the incentives for success all positive.
Don’t take any notice if @Fordy117@Fordy117 his merc never leaves his drive.

When I look at this most of the clubs have the same amount of away average in div 2. Now,yes I am sure Bradford and others could have sold more away tickets but that's down ground capacity.

Overall though the same people will mainly go to the away games if down south or in the north. I would miss travelling down south and to honest I think the players would also. Don't see what regional division brings.

Why is it wrong? The club has availed itself of the legal right to furlough its staff and players.

Salford arent doing it purely because it makes Beckham look bad. Otherwise they would have done it. So that would mean their owners aren't backing the club by your logic?

Funny that his wife was quick to Furlough her staff... stop with the bum licking of Ryan. Have your own mind.

I await Rupp to make this club better. We have gone backwards under him, so no praise from me.

It's clear that the day where you come in and save the club is nearing rapidly. You know you want to.

You have all the ideas to generate revenue during the lockdown.

You know how to successfully invest and get a decent ROI.

You know how to run a football club.

    Your club needs you. NOW.

That way we can all rest assured that the best person is at the helm to take us to the top.

Leagues resuming in the next few weeks:

    Estonia - 19.05
    Czech Rep - 23.05
    Hungary - 23.05
    Denmark - 28.05
    Poland - 29.05
    Israel - 30.05
    Serbia - 30.05
    Albania - 02.06
    Austria - 02.06
    Bulgaria - 05.06
    Croatia - 05.06
    Romania - 05.06
    Iceland - 13.06

It's extremely worrying that in this country Div 2 finished. Div 1 is 50/50, Championship 60/40 and PL just moaning.

Maybe, the 91/92 club model just doesn't work now.

Despite his own Club vote FGR Chairman on Talksport said vote to end season wasn't ! "It was s vote to indicate direction of travel" Went on to say season should finish No wonder football is where it is, no decisive top management from EFL.

Let’s face it if the premiership restarts it won’t be for football reasons it will be entirely for financial purposes. Professional sport needs an audience

Nail on the head. The lack of leadership from Boris Johnson, the PL, the PFA, FA and EFL has been clear throughout this covid 19 outbreak.

We've the FA and EFL saying relegation must happen then league 2 clubs vote for it not to happen in div 2. I would be extremely disappointed in the FA & EFL if clubs are not promoted from the non league to replace Stevenage and Bury. Relegation and promotion has to happen.

The voting system doesn't work in situations like this. Leaders need to lead and make firm decisions early. State the points. Now we have Phil Parkinson talking about a mini tournament in div 1-it's a mess!

PL, EFL and FA should just come out with a joint statement and say promotion and relegation will happen no matter what and this is how we will decidexx if the season can't be played out..Our decision is final.

In this country everything has been a shambles.

Be like UFEA.. firm! If you don't finish the you need to qualify and clubs that enter the CL/EL it has to be done on sporting merit.

You do understand that what's happening in the world?

So you happen for division 2 not to return in anyway next season then?

I believe that something over 70% of the money paid goes to the Club whose service you sign up to. So, City will get over 70% of the subscriptions and match day passes sold through Bradford City's iFollow service, be that for a home match or an away match.

The system does favour Clubs with a larger support; maybe, it would be fairer if he home club kept most/all of the money.

Here's an explanation from an Ipswich Town site: https://www.tottonline.co.uk/efl-clubs-could-have-to-rely-on-ifollow-as-only-match-day-income-but-is-the-money-split-evenly/

    Interesting read that.

I'm really starting to think 91/92 clubs in the football league doesn't work,

IFollow have to make money get viewing numbers. Sunderland will world bring more to the table than Accrington for example.

Everyone just moans..just goes back to the lack of leadership and direction.
