Obviously no one has a definitive answer but if it went to court I'd back us to recieve the payment if they start the next season in the top flight.

i wouldn’t depending on the wording, if it says anything about it being the second season it will not have triggered as this one is stricken from the history books if it is voided. And that is another reason why it will not be voided and it will be finished

You’re insolvent if you can’t pay the money you owe.

I wouldn't because if void the season didn't happen. So when the next season happens then IF sheff utd stay up then they would have to pay out but it wouldn't be certain that whey would.

Can't have it best of both worlds.

I don't understand this concept of voiding the current season and regarding it as never having happened. The consequences of that would be enormous for all involved

Does that mean the colossal amounts already paid by Sky and BT are to be paid back by the PL clubs? I doubt it without an enormous legal battle. Are the outstanding amounts due to the PL clubs not to be paid? There might be some reduction in the additional amounts for individual televised games but I doubt the 'basic' allocation being paid without legal address. What about the EFL payments already paid to clubs such as ours? Will they have to be repaid if the season is voided? Only if they want to drive just about every EFL club into liquidation. If it is voided, does it mean the EFL/PL will go back on what they've already announced about paying the remaining amounts earlier to EFL clubs? That would be an incredible volte face and would damage the reputation of the EFL and PL irreparably with the EFL clubs. And that's before there is any discussion on which clubs would be England's entants for the very lucrative CL or maybe we'll just tell UEFA that there are no PL clubs entering the next CL because our season has been voided!

If the season is voided in the way some people are discussing it, it simply doesn't stack up.

And that is why it will not happen.

the outcome will be one of two things, firstly the season is finished(preferred option by FA, PL and EFL) or it is ended early and places allocated by either current positions or adding in average points per game so that everyone has ‘played’ same number of games.

problem with the second one is teams that are relegated will probably go to court as well as those that just miss out on promotion especially those in play off positions

Should be a doddle. Try having 4 in the house that are all 11 to 15!

My only thoughts at this stage is that once again the club has prepared the barest of bare accounts. And that is despite Ryan Sparks saying a few months ago that the next set of accounts, ie this set, would be full accounts and not this super-abbreviated version.

One further comment is that it appears that somebody has provided a short term loan to the club probably to get us over a short term cash flow issue pending the arrival of the McBurnie money. And since there is no reference to any financial transactions bewteen the owner and the club in the accounts (which there has to be) and no reference to another secured loan at Companies House, I can only assume that it's the club's bank which has provided this in the short term. The bank is already registered as a secured creditor.

Delicate reading for sure.Always walking the tight rope and in these very uncertain times of restricted revenue streams there is more than ever a need for Rupp's involvement. He is surely keeping one eye on his own circumstances re his other business interests but without him we would be in a dire situation.

He hasn't put any money in.

    Might need to now though.

I’m not sticking up for Rupp, I’m firmly in the he needs to shit or get off the pot camp, but the published information is at it was at the end of June 2019, it could be very different now.

Unfortunately even the force isn't powerful enough to defeat a 15 year olds "dark side" moods.

I can't wait until he's 15, you'll be begging for the time he was 18 months old and trying to run under your mower.
