Virtual Prediction League

    With the season being up in the air for an unspecified time amount (or even cancelled) I have been thinking about doing a virtual prediction league to give us something to do.

    It would work as follows. I will start a new game on Football Manager where I will take over City to see if I can do better than Bowyer. Every team in England will be under a transfer embargo for the season forcing everyone to use the squad they had on 1st Feb 2020 (I did consider starting with the original squads and setting all the future transfers up but that was going to take me at least a week so this is the best compromise and makes it a bit tougher seeing as Bowyer left the squad with a lack of great strikers)

    For each match of the season, I will make a post with the full lineup and formation I'm using and just as in the normal prediction league you will then make your predictions and you will score points in the exact same way. You will have maybe 2 days to make a prediction and then at a set time after that I will post the match video (match played on key Highlights setting on Football Manager so the video shouldn't be longer than 10mins) so you can follow along and see how and you will be awarded the points based on that result. It will only be the league matches as the aim is over that single-season if I can do better than the finish it looked like Bowyer (And McCall) were likely to achieve.

    And there will be a prize as I do have a code for FM20 going spare and I might be able to secure more (And maybe the winner can get a forum badge as well)

    If the Football comes back before it's completed I will complete it but might drop it back to say 1 or 2 matches a week.

    Before I put any work in setting it up though I just want to gauge if this is something people would be interested in so if so let me know with either a like or a comment.

    1) can we moan about your team selection from day one?
    2) Can we demand that you stop playing either Anderson, Devine or hopeless?
    3) Can we petition that your sacked, with immediate affect after the first defeat?

    Well having just set the save up he is out with a torn groin muscle for 2-3 months so he very well might be. Shame as my assistant not only thinks he is a 4.5 star (out of 5) player and along with Cooke by far the best CM but apart from his awful balance (4 out possible 20 so will be lucky if he can walk without falling over) he is really well rounded
