Sales must be dreadful. Appointing Stuart was purely to improve ST sales, gone well hasn’t it Julian?

Unless we get taken over, McCall is promised a hugh budget for next year or everyone goes mental it will drop below 10,000 for sure

I've had enough and I live on the other side of the world!!

How tinpot to continually glorify two years of getting beat most weeks and not even competing in about half of the games 20 years ago.

It's no surprise this club can never move forward with this mindset of harking back to (very minor) glory, reverting back to former chairmen and managers and a fanbase continually obsessed with trying to bring back former players whenever the transfer window opens.

Bound to be low sales when Rhodes had a late May deadline. Most wait to the last couple of weeks before buying and then you get a surge. People moaned as usual in previous years that not enough pay days when a March deadline was imposed but this is then what you get with a May deadline. It’s like saying let’s kick off at 4 pm as loads arrive at just before 3pm. All that then happens is most arrive just before 4.

Its a nice gesture but at this moment in time when parents possibly face having to take time off work, bills continue to pile up if the shizzle hits the fan then I guess buying a season ticket now is the last thing on peoples minds.

The McCall effect unfortunately hasn't happened.

I think there's some mistake here. Surely it's a free ST to everyone that buys the book.

I will not be renewing no matter what they offer.

Sorry but appointing McCall in such haste, a backward looking appointment that was done for every reason but trying to take this club forward and without talking to anyone else, was for me the last straw. Not just that they appointed him but that it seems, in and of itself, it shows a club mired in an (inglorious) past. So I simply can't be bothered anymore. Sure it might work but it will be luck rather than a plan so I am out. My son and I will not renewing and will transfer over to Burnley. No I am not a Burnley supporter but it is a club that has a plan, isn't going to keep appointing Ralph Coates every time the supporters get uppity or they have a downturn. Yes it will cost me 450 for a season but I expect to pay that much for a full season and the football will be worth watching.

The season is over. I will attend games and run my season ticket out and then I will be (to quote John Martyn) Over the Hill.

    Good night and good luck.

    Ciao.

    Feats.

In a way i don't blame you, there is a clear lack of ambition within the club that has seen us spend the last 16 seasons in leagues 1 and 2, with seven of those in league 2 and counting. in those 16 seasons we've seen 2 relegations and 1 promotion with a highest league position in either of those divisions of 5th. The cup runs under Parky being the only respite in what has been a fairly torrid existence in the lower leagues.
We now see ourselves a division below the likes of Burton and Fleetwood, both non league clubs a short while back and the likes of ground sharing nomads like Coventry. All three clubs established as decent league 1 sides. Even in our own division young upstarts such as Salford and Forest Green are biting at our heels.
I will get a season ticket, its in the blood unfortunately. But boy does this club need a complete overhaul from the top down, the poor thing is drowning like a rat in a barrel and has been for years. And i could understand anyone who doesn't renew their season ticket/s.

If this means you’re going to stop writing the same post over and over and over again then good riddance.

Why's everybody obsessed with a plan? What is Burnley's plan? How's everyone's plan stacking up now? Is there a contingency plan? Do fans have a right to know what that is as well? Will a good contingency plan attract fans and a bad one force fans to other clubs? Football been the same for generations. You make a judgement on a figurehead and away you go. If things don't work out you get rid and bring someone else in. Luck plays a huge part especially since patience has become as thin as a razor blade. Clubs sack people and reappoint them all the time. Perhaps they plan to do that - who knows. A few years ago football was decided by money now it's how good you're plan is. Hopefully we'll get back to deciding things on the pitch someday.
