Driving back after the match in Saturday with no MW I had the choice of listening to Leeds or Huddersfields post match analysis. Obviously I couldn't stand listening to the Leeds fans so chose the latter. Both pundits, fans and the manager were praising LOB. Got me wondering if we could have either Cullen or LOB back at City for the next few years who would I choose. I find myself erring towards LOB. I think Cullen was possibly more composed but think we saw the best of him and LOB might go on to have the more successful career. I don't know how to do a poll!

    Irrelevant, neither going to happen.
More important things to worry about.
Sorry if this offends, but true.

You had the opportunity to get Cullen back, but ER had an "interesting" negotiation stance and it didn't happen.

Think we'll both get our wises, steady ship is David Moyes, again you lads might have to put up with football you're not renowned for playing but some times needs must.

    I'd take Luke O B.

Honestly think he'll just about be better than Cullen.

Either is light years ahead of our best central midfielder right now though

I'd go for both. Cullen holding, LOB box to box.
    If only.

Happy new year to you too. I never suggested it was going to happen. Just thought it might make for an interesting discussion outside of the main chat

Don’t you know you’re only allowed to post about Doyle? :D

Cullen for me. Think he’ll prosper the more international football he plays.

Both stood out straight away as being far too good for us long term. Different type of player in a sense Cullen will boss a game whereas LOB has a more attack minded skillset. O'Brien's all round game is better but Cullen has better use of both feet as opposed to LOB being completely one footed. Can't split them talent wise.

I would definitely take obrien given the choice. Both very good players but obrien had goals in him, something which was lacking in Cullens game
