Fingers crossed for a good spell to tempt them in January to take him permanently. Never in a million years a football league standard player. "Do your thing Bro"

Good move for him to get some regular minutes, the initial 1 month seems to suggest it's a trail with a view to a longer term loan which would be a great opportunity to put himself in the shop window in the summer.

He can do a Doyle in the conference mate as we don't play in it.

We play in div 2 and Doyle making us look silly.

Slagging the kid off like its his fault he wasnt good enough for League 1 football. Only at BCAFC. Embarrasing.

Explain how it isn't his fault? It's his actions on the pitch that's making people "slag" him off. It's not FIFA and one of us in the stand is controlling him. He's not training hard enough or not developing his skills. That's no one's fault but his own that he's not progressing. Can't expect someone to do it for you.

Before joining us at 20 years old he had played 48 career games at Kidderminster and Beaconsfield. He was signed as a young prospect and some times they work out and sometimes they don’t. If he doesn’t have the ability to step up then that’s the risk the club takes when taking these young lads on.

To slag him off and make jokes about him leaving is embarrassing. End of.

I agree with you about being overly critical of a player, IMHO it is unnecessary. However who’s fault is it, that he has struggled in League 1 & 2? He has only made 31 league appearances in three and a half seasons and scored two goals. He has been at Barnsley, Yeovil and City . At 23 he is hardly a kid.

He isn't good enough for League 2 football either.

He picks up a wage and isn't justifying that wage so yeh, he is open to criticism.

Ok yes its his fault he isnt a good enough footballer to be playing at this level. Why isnt James Anthony O'Connor playing in the Premier League.... Because he isnt good enough. Thats not his fault though.

Who offered him the contract? Should he have said no thanks im not good enough to play for Bradford at 20 years old with zero league experience and walked away?

Or maybe he was just never going to be good enough regardless of how he trained. If you're a young player andsomeone offers you a 3 year deal to play at a professional club you are always going to have confidence in your own ability that you can do it. Some players hit their peak at an early age and never kick on as they are maximising their ability or they get over hyped early on and the expectation of where they can get to was never going to happen.

    you're joking, right?

okay so we're never again allowed to criticise any players, because 'its not their fault'.

it's not just league 1 he wasn't good enough for, it's also league 2, national league, national league regional, isthmian premier, under 23 premier league, reserve league, midlands league, sunday league.... the list goes on.

the kid is absolutely, unequivocally rubbish at football.

Spot on. Happens up and down the country at our level. We take a risk on a player hoping he will come good and we can sell for a profit. The majority of the fan base all supported this idea at the time hahaha Now the majoirty have all chaanged their tune. Not a shock really.

Like ive said.. Its not his fault he was given a 3 year contract. its not his fault he isnt good enough at this level. If you think slagging him off for this is ok then you are an absolute pipe.
