Away vs Morecambe 12th October

Great finish. Predator like.

 

Not so much the goal but the reaction from Morecombes Captain and keeper, they came over to the side the City fans were sat and started giving the linesman earache and us City fans were laughing and singing McLean scores with his hands, which made them more angry .

 

"He's got the whole hands in his world ......" LOL

 

Looking back I think he was protecting his face and accidentaly pushed the ball into the net .

 

After both being brought down! Both easy tap ins if it weren’t for being swiped out (I get the irony of using McLean and easy tap in in the same sentence of course)

 

Anybody know of any spares knocking about for this one?

 

I get the impression most think this game is a nailed on certainty for a City win.
I'd exercise a little caution. Morecambe have made a career out of being bottom half of league 2. But that doesn't' mean they're a walk over.

 

Could do with two myself, my uncle lives in Morecambe, might see if he can get me two.

 

Home end is an option although I'm not sure I'd be able to hold in any celebrations should we score so I probably wont bother with that. Normally theres a few who can't make it in the last few days before a game so hopefully there'll be a couple available.

On the flip side it does mean they lose on a fairly regular basis though if they are always knocking about down the lower reaches.

 

No negative thoughts or messing about, this is a game we can and should go and win - followed up by 2 home games which we should win. Then we’ll be top #onourway

Just wondered if anyone has or knows of a couple of adult tickets available for me and my old man? Thanks in advance.

 

In my head I always think of this fixture as one of those we should win, but often struggle. Looking at past results not necessarily the case but main thing is that we definitely should approach this one confidently but sensibly. On paper, if we want to be up there at the end of the season these are the type of games we need to go and win, regardless of the omens attached their season so far.

We’ve got hungry players banging on the managers door for a starting shirt. Even with a bunch of injuries Bowyer has a selection headache - a good place for a manager to be in. Let’s hope we are prepared and set up professionally and build on last weeks performance.

 

FYI - we’ve sold nearer 1,750 than 1,600.

I too am amazed that they haven’t given us the terrace opposite the main stand - we did request it.

 

If you go on the Morecambe website you can buy tickets to print out or download to your phone for the terrace along the side of the pitch for £16. If you didn't act like a tool you could probably watch the game stood at the end of the ground the Bradford fans are at.

It might be easier to get tickets if you can use an address that isn't in Bradford however.
