I’d be happy to and I know a few others that would too. Some of us have renewed (at the figure set by the club) AND added one of the Membership packages. The issue is that we only have around 7-8k core fans that WOULD pay the higher amount. But we’d lose the remaining ‘floating’ fans we have brought with us.

Swings and roundabouts. And let’s face it, wouldn’t we want the same income from 14k gates than we would from just 8k...? The atmosphere would be awful in a 25k seater stadium

 

Park, I think it is the ONLY way to go if we accept that (other than paying running costs) they are not prepared to invest. Out of interest, do you think they planned on achieving their 3 year promotion target using this method?

 

I bet they are regretting saying that because it masked what they said when they first bought the club Things like the location which had lots of bigger clubs in the Area where they could pick up released players to develop and sell on. They set the stall out at the beginning obviously they underestimated how hard it would be but they did say they were in it for the long term. I don’t think they ever had the intention of throwing money at the club rather a steady growth.

 

Obviously as Bradford City fans we hope they can do what they say with regards young development players that don't make it at Premiership club, but there are 70+ other teams trying to do the same, you don't see many slipping through the top teams academies and being picked up and developed who bring big money.
The ones likes Peterborough are picking up are mainly non league players who they pay little for and make a few bob when they sell them, I would much prefer the system we had where the manager know his player budget and brings players in to strengthen the first team squad even like Stuart and Parkinson before him spent little on goal keepers because they though6 other position had priority, if you could get a lad like Jordon Pickford or Sam Johnson then that's a bonus.

Ok, so if you just watched his Bradford team then you will see he plays dire football. His football is extremely boring.

 

So far I have seen a manager desperately trying to make us harder to beat and setting us up that way, whilst still trying to play some football on a pitch that is worse than Marley Playing Fields

 

Wouldn't mind any of the following:

Alexander
Rosler
Bellamy
Warburton
Cowley
Clarke

But ideally would like Grayson to sign on, assemble his own squad and give it a right good go next season.

I sometimes I wonder if you are on a long time wind up mission. Or you are the most negative person you could meet. Which is true? Yes Grayson is a pragmatic manager but his record shows he knows how to win football matches. I agree up to the Shrewsbury match it hasn’t been great to watch but he has been trying to fit other people’s players into the system he likes to play. Whether he can do it on a tight budget remains to be seen but I hope he gets to try.

With Warnock due to retire at the end of season, good footballer progressing through his UEFA Badges also has wealth of experience and seen the shite we’ve had to endure. Would he be worth a shout in some capacity next season?

First of all Mr Wum, I haven’t mentioned whether I want him to stay or not. This was never about that. You asked about his style of football and I responded to that.
