    Anyone any idea about a release date, design, manufacturer? We are safe in the knowledge it can't be as bad as this seasons offerings.

    I wouldn't be so sure about that. Didn't the designs have to be submitted by December? If so I think it's to be expected edin had a say in it.

    If we keep a majority of this seasons squad next seasons kit should incorporate a big fecking yellow stripe down the back. (just to remind them)

    Why? Edin got his wings clipped in the October half-term. I’m not sure he had much influence from then (when Rhodes rejoined)

    I hope you're right but he was still in the building until December so anything is possible and the kit could've been designed before Julian arrived.

    I can only speak from a Premier League perspective and maybe the smaller number of replica kits that City may need to have produced than say Man Utd may change things but by the time they are signed off in December there isn't enough time to allow for wholesale changes.

    They will have maybe 2-3 options per kit put to them around August/September and they will then select which ones to go with and then upto December it will be the case of tweaking things with the final design needing signed off in December. So the general design choosen will have been choosen while Edin was there and it’s likely to only be small adjustments made since then. Even in the best case and they were able to go down a different route it would only be one of the other final options, options that were also on the table based on the brief given while Edin wasn’t in charge
