We should get Payne on and OB (if fit). We need some people that will carry the ball forward, something which they both do well.

 

At the end of the half, Bowyer ripped his jacket off and stormed into the change rooms... I will assume that he is going to RIP them all a new arse...

 

Even Mike Harrison questioning the team selection, Bowyer needs to change and bring on either Payne or O'Brien.

We’ve been awful, even allowing for the conditions. Half time changes are a must.

 

Half time and I think Boyer has to show what he has in the locker and rejig, reshape and make changes.His job to galvanise us into an aggressive and combative 2nd half force.Need more intensity..surely he can see this.

 

No matter what the team is and the formation, no matter who we are playing,the recent results are the same,no shots on target and just one attempt in the first half.

Very poor.No complaints where City are in the league, totally deserved.

 

Did think when Hopkin resigned, the last thing we needed was a manager coming in and having to learn all the players and their strengths and weaknesses from scratch, with 10 games to go.

And that's the boat we now find ourselves in.

Bowyer is learning that some of the players - that Hopkin knew weren't quite there - aren't quite there.

The Payne situation is surprising, but you have to assume he's carrying a knock.

No issues with O'B being rested, but bring him on now given how dreadful Anderson has sounded.

We're really trying to make it hard for ourselves - if we have to score first to win but we're not allowed to shoot until the second half our win probability must be about 10%

No changes you have to wonder what Bowyer see's in the likes of Anderson and Clarke.
Pulse saying possibly Miller for Anderson.

 

Agree. Need to change this formation as it’s simply not working. Our two most effective players are either exposed on the left or on the bench. Ball seriously having an off day, Clarke anonymous and Anderson looks incredibly nervous.

Miller maybe coming in? Wouldn’t be a bad move but my fear becomes we revert to long ball, unless we go 4-3-3.

 

Yes needs to make changes at HT because this is not working, before kick off I really felt we had to win this but gaining a draw is going to be a challenge based on that first half.
I know Bowyer is being very positive in his PR but rest assured he has been shocked at the imbalance and lack of pace in the squad he has inherited, looked thoroughly pissed off when half came to an end

 

Good thing is we are still well in the game. Either a change of personell or style at half time and we can win this

 

Only thing I can think is he kicked ass and gave them 10 minutes to sort it out.
