    He’s the type of young player you need to get on a five year deal, great pedigree too. Some may not like that but how else do we prosper with signings on a two year deal and they walk away to a big club for Jack.
    Peterborough do it , not always paying off but , when it does ?

    Maybe so but it’s tenuous to suggest they’re speaking about Metcalfe “to try and get it over the line”.

    Chesterfield fans rated him. Its a step up but he has time on his side. Just a shame he couldnt play last night as he has some catching up to do.

    That said he gets a place on bench against Wycombe you would expect.

    I genuinely don’t know anything about this lad - is he fast/slow, can he tackle or shoot, is he good in the air etc? Lots of people lauding the signing on social media but maybe they’re better informed!

    He'll 100% be in the squad next Saturday baring any knocks. He played for Evertons first 11 twice so far this pre-season and he was with the first team for their fitness camp in Scotland. So thankfully he's not someone who's coming in with zero pre-season so far. Reckon he kicks on pretty quickly.

    Similar boat to Pointon & Kav, it's a step up for the first time in their careers but they'll be given time to play and progress.

    According to GA yesterday it would be two more so one now. I suspect this may have been a potential loan that turned into a permanent
