That tells us what we need to know then. TBF Hunt is a RWB and can drop in at RCB so that probably makes more sense. Plus we are 2 LWBs options down at the moment so you could use Neufville over there if Touray picks owt up.

Anyone see Huntington getting a deal? Kelly and Byrne likely to miss season start you would think.

 

GA said he was talking to player and agent on Zoom midweek. Did occur to me why an agent would be involved for a loan move.

Certainly makes life easier if he is our player, dont feel obliged to play him to keep parent club happy.

Agents are involved in all moves, even loans. They'll even get paid for facilitating the loan move.

Hunt has played centre half a grand total of THREE times in his entire career. I'd actually rather play Byrne there, at least he knows the role.

 

Im saying if needs must and with Byrne and Kelly both out it might have to be an option if another one falls. That said Huntington probably gets a new deal now.

We've seen various full backs play that role for City over the last 5 or 6 years and every one, to a man, has been largely terrible at it.

 

Because there comes a point where you cant have 8/9 contracted specialist CBs on the books.
Baldwin only suspended for first 2 games so will probably never come to that.

GA aint signing Hunt as a 3rd choice RWB. He is signing him as a utility player. Pretty obvious.
