True but if Oldham have a good deal on the table and guaranteed football he may see that as a better option.

Hopefully not but his game time is going to be limited. May not even make the bench when everyone is fit. Id have him in my 18 but GA dropped him immediately after POTM I think. I found it bizarre at the time.

 

He had a couple of good games for sure, but his four goals came in just two games. The rest of his appearances, he was anonymous and I think we need greater consistency.

 

Not sure thats entirely true, his press helped us win possession back several times. Im not claiming hes going to take L1 by storm but hes definitely an effective impact sub especially chasing a game

Thanks for the advice , however it me who decides what, when and where contributions are made on the basis rules are not broken , I don’t wum and post made up stuff nor post for for “likes” like some appear to substantiate or justify posts .

T&A article today confirming that Tommy Leigh will play in central midfield so that gives us Power, Pattison and Leigh central at the moment.

Seems more likely then that the only further joiners will be loans.

 

Its beyond belief he cannot comprehend the word 'rumour' and its meaning. The whole purpose of this thread lost on him.

I love a rumour, dont care what the source is or how wild it is.

 

His best performance was as a CM against Fleetwood. And we are stocked with AM options. Makes sense.

Sounds like Huddersfield are bringing in Alfie May from Birmingham for £1.2m

Dunno if its just me, but L1 so different than before spending wise. Feels like half the league can drop a high 6 figure fees if not more on a few players a window, and the other half are still operating largely on free and loans.

 

Funny you should say that , FLW has “suggested” May going to Charlton , Huddersfield and Bolton in the last 21days .

 

Crazy fee for a 32 year old.

TBF didn't they get near £6m for Rudoni last summer. I think its always important to look at outgoings when looking at incomings. If we suddenly found £5-£6m for a departed player we could throw around 7 figure fees too. Assume they got a few quid for Helik, Spencer and Sorba Thomas as well. Latter was rumoured to be around the £2m mark.
