Why the heck would you want to move from Spain to Bradford !!!

 

Seeing his name this morning, I can't get Phil Collins song out of my head. On that basis hope we dont sign him!

 

That's on the assumption the loanee wouldn't be in the team though, Shepherd was on loan and started every game he was fit

 

Cant see many Champ level clubs looking at either, neither player did much in L1 last season. Mbete started the season for Northampton but then was out for 5 months with a hamstring injury, played the last month or so of the season. Susho similar really, got injured at the start of the season and didn't play again for Peterborough for nearly 5 months. Came back and was in and out the team, 7 starts and 8 sub apps on L1. Then he didn't make the squad for the final 5 games of the season, so guessing they just didn't feel the need to use a player they wont have for the following season?

Either way, neither L1 ventures scream that they played enough to be tested at CH level.

 

I've had two crashes where my helmet prevented very serious injury. Agree they should be wearing helmets.

Smith not travelled and is training at Apperley Bridge. Wilson not gone either due to a "last minute illness" !!!!

Yeah, heard he suddenly came down with a nasty bout of what'sthepointitis.

 

He was one of 5....we have 7 at the moment. Agree if we bring another CB in on loan from the PL he is coming in to start games. But then it begs the question why have we signed 3, resigned Kelly and asked Huntington to lurk around.

The CM that comes in on loan will be in the matchday 18 at the very least and fighting with Power, Leigh and Pattison for 2 shirts.

 

Jenson Metcalfe a midfielder who plays for Everton is a name that's been mentioned to me.
Had a decent loan spell at Chesterfield last season.Scored in our 3-3 draw there.
Said to be seen as an ideal replacement for former loanee Brandon Khela.

 

Remains to be seen if we are actually trying to make a CM out of Leigh, or he's just covering whilst we get bodies in. Pattison and Power look a similar type on paper, Leigh doesn't really fit in with either or the Smallwood hole. Reckon we are looking more the DM type player on loan, then decided if Leigh joins back in with the attackers or sticks to CM i suppose?

Based on pre season I wager he will be a CM option going forward. Bobby, Sarc and Laps ahead of him in AM. I dare say Wright will be too, on the left anyway. I noticed GA said we had 2 LWBs at the club in todays T&A which is why Tayo wasnt returning.

 

They need to get some use out of the fee we paid I suppose? Isnt a striker, is about 5th choice AM, keep playing him deeper I suppose until something works? Wouldn't at all be surprised to see him moved out on loan maybe in Jan if he is just so far down the order in all those spots.

 

Yeh needs to hang around for now. Get some cameo minutes and pizza cup games, find himself and maybe force his way in. From what i have heard he has been 1 of the better players in the 2 friendlies so far. Too early to give up now but in Jan then yeh.

 

Thought he was class that game. He really stood out
