No he's not, because he knew it wasn't true... in fact, he's probably delighted he's still getting attention

 

I thought he would have been snapped up in a flash, being such an important lynchpin in our midfield
Season starts 3 weeks on Saturday
Will he still be without a club and definitely won’t be fit
Not that it matters in his case as pace was not his forte

The Sheffield Star are reporting that Gassama looks like he's on his way to Rangers, but no mention of Windass.

You'd guess he's likely to leave West Brom given the change in manager and recently signing a striker but wages would need subsidising if he was dropping down to any league one club.

His lack of championship goals probably makes a league one move more likely though. If he'd scored a couple at Championship level then maybe a club there may have taken a punt.

 

If I remember Dave, we bombed Cole out previously because he had 'attitude', poor trainer etc.
Hope the lad has improved in that respect.

He hated Phil Parkinson and Steve Parkin, not the club. The feeling was mutual.

Cole has worked under Alexander before at Motherwell. He faired very well.
