Seems to be a lot more league 2 players on their list than last year.

John Swift looks to be by far the best player on the list but I would imagine he'll have a few lower Championship sides interested in him. If we could somehow get an agreement in place he would be a perfect player for us and give us another goal threat.

Kazaiah Sterling was rated highly as a youngster when coming through the Spurs academy but struggled in his loan spells and in the last few years he's been playing in the USA 3rd tier and recently he's been playing in the Baller League on sky sports so that shows how much he's fallen.

Very odd why he hasn’t been fixed up, unless of course he’s setting ridiculous demands?

Stoke and Derby were apparently interested. Maybe he is looking for a club darn sarf....originally from Portsmouth, time at Chelsea and Reading. Youd think Charlton, Portsmouth, Oxford etc would possibly take a look but maybe not prepared to meet his demands. Not alot of realistic choice in L1 apart from Plymouth and Luton if a southern move is what he wants.

TBF a player of his caliber is doing the rest of them a favour too - more eyes on the game. Will definitely be a few more watching because of his involvement.

Looks like this isn't the full list. PFA said there were 40 free agents training last week, looks like they have confirmed just the 1 so far has signed on for a new club, Matty Foulds. Fairly certain Huntington was on this programme this time last year?

I heard a rumour earlier today that we were interested in Jordan Brown from Leyton Orient but he is signing for Blackpool as they offered orient more money and brown better terms

Why are we surprised, chucking money and big contracts around like there’s no tomorrow. Average attendance 24/25 , 9.6k and falling from 10.6 the previous season.

You would have to offer me silly money to go anywhere near Blackpool
More of a shithole than Bradford and dole dossing central

    Off topic sorry.
Just been reading a FT article what the owner is being alleged to have been up to in Hong Kong . Due in court again next May . He’s also been reported as trying to sell the club (in the Blackpool Gazette) to another guy from Asia before his expected prison term, if found guilty . They don’t mess about with Financial criminality in China.

:joy::joy: I’m sorry but what has attendance got to do with anything? We are obsessed with crowd sizes aren’t we as a fan base.

Because it’s what is wrong with football. Teams living beyond their means on borrowed money

Attendances aren’t the only streams of income though, and aren’t indicative of finances

Compare us to Bournemouth or Brentford for extreme examples

£100,000+ per week wage bill on income of £50,000
That’s why football clubs and their dubious owners are up the shit creek
Virtually all clubs running on massive losses
And in the real business world, you would be wound up and barred from being a company director
The sooner we get the legislation through around a football regulator the better

Income through the gate . Clearly by definition the owner is paying for their splurge . I thought that would be relatively obvious? Season ticketing isn’t much more than ours.
