I agree. If Richards is injured then its a goodbye from me. He has spent too much time on the treatment table.

The injuries were from a few months ago. I'm sure he will be fit again soon, if not already

 

I think that's a bit unfair when it's not a fresh injury, it is part of the recovery process after surgery for the shoulder and hamstring injury he got last season. Reading up on the internet it says the recovery time from hamstring surgery can be 4-7 months so it's not like he's behind schedule as it's only 4 months since he went off against Bromley with the hamstring injury.

 

They didn't waste anytime spending the Galbraith money did they!

Yes we were discussing his rehab and what his original operations were in May. The fact he can’t train is a worry ?

An interesting article in the YP today with Humphrys. Clearly player and manager see him as our number 9 this season - it was a key decision for him signing.

All the talk of needing another target man and him taking bobbys shirt was codswallop. He is firmly fighting it out with Cook, Kav and Swan.

 

That did cross my mind tbh, he’s a powerful lad, and are we wrongly assuming Josh Neufville is going to be our RWB ? GA must have something up his sleeve?

 

Quite possibly....would explain why Hunt is on trial perhaps. Neufville is the AM/WF fighting with Bobby, Sarc and Lapslie. Leigh part of the CM options?

 

Having re read it , it’s a bit contradictory tbh. Sounds like a “false 9” to me not the typical centre centre forward as in the Cookie mould ?

 

Probably in a similar style to how we used Kav, press from the front and able to break quickly.

 

He’s certainly got the pace.
