Yeh we need 6 CBs. And considering we released Huntington, Crichlow and Johnson, plus lost Shepherd, it isnt any wonder we have signed 3 CBs.

Need to sign 1 striker at least. Kav our only option at the min, Cook injured for a little bit longer too, but both are out of contract at the end of the year. Need to have the next man up in the building if this is Cooks last season here. I think we sign one and loan another striker.

Midfielders probably a mix too. Love Pattison, but theres not a chance you can expect him to play 70+% minutes in a season, you need someone else to pick up those minutes who's a similar level. Probably get another young lad in to make up the numbers in the middle.

If he doesn't go to Austria then his fitness is going to suffer.

He'll start the season behind Touray and only get chances to play against Donny and Grimsby in the cup. If he doesn't play well in those, he may not get another chance until later in the season.

Big risk leaving it too long in my view.

 

Richards is still under contract for another few days. That’s why he is training at the moment I hope not but he will probably be gone next week

 

He’s not a striker, more like one of the two playing off a striker

 

We now have 22 pros over 21, so technically if we want to use everyone we have in the squad, the shop is closed for anyone over 21.

So we either need outs, or we still sign players but we dont register whichever players we dont want to use. Which means we'd have players we cant used but would still be paying for.

 

I wonder if we are going to do a Jamie Walker, like last year trying to negotiate a new deal but resort to activating a one year extension clause (if we have one)
