Add to that a player that played a full season for a team that finished 3rd in this league

Pretty impressed with our business so far...

Lots of very solid B's with a couple of B+. The only one that feels like a Bradford City signing so far as Tilt but he may well be a useful hand. Its more about his age than anything else mind.

I think we could have gotten him in L2, but the other 5 we needed L1 football.

Looks like Blackpool are trying the US football business model? . Lengthy contracts , big pay packets . Just dig into the owners profile.

When you have been watching live football at City since the early 80's, seen multiple owners, ambitions change and mixed results then we are living up to our ambitions. 80%+ in bottom two divisions, solid team ethic, occasionally sparking to life as this last season but mainly average. You make hay when the sun shines like now. We will be fine. We need a few in and out still but we are good at this stage.

You'll not sign another player who will give more to the cause than Walker. Can't help but warm to the fella. Feisty at times, a decent acquisition at that level.

He's a top man/pro, gives all for the cause. There probably aren't many better attacking midfielders in the free agent L2 achievable market when he's fit. Jamie's problem has always been his fitness, he just has a knack of getting random issues unfortunately, he has his whole career. If you can manage his minutes, you'll get a proper threat.

They not been announced publicly but with the new players bar Humphrys having a number on I would imagine they've been agreed with the players so can't see them changing. If they were unsure on the numbers for the new players then they would have a blank top like Richards, Smith, Wilson and Huntington have.

Despite those injuries (which are generally impact injuries as a result of his work rate - see the broken foot at Doncaster) he played 30 games per season for us despite being out of favour at times under Alexander).
I think too much is made of his fitness / injuries.
    Agree with the rest

Can only really agree with others on this. He's a great player just don't expect him to be starting every game as he is quite injury prone. Very good at the 'dark arts' / game management (whatever you want to call it) but also technically very gifted. Will always give 100% and it's his attitude that has made city fans take him to their heart. I think you would struggle to find anyone to say anything negative about him. League 1 would have undoubtedly been a step too far at this stage of his career, but I think he'd be a good signing for you.

Playing 30 games is still missing over a third of the season. This past season for example, he was in 35 matchday squads which was the most he managed in a full season at City, but he only played 40% of available minutes. Yes, a lot of that was dropping down the pecking order, but even when he was first choice under Hughes and GA the season before, he'd start and not often play 90. He only completed 90 mins 7 times last season, just 10 times the season before that when he was probably our main number 10.

I think at this stage, he is a guy where he needs his minutes managed a bit more and if you can, he's still a top notch L2 player.

When I was there the area they were eventually training on was being used by toxophilists they must have packed up once the players came out, I obviously left too early, but thought first day they would be out around 10 am.

Some Turkish dentist has done very well out of our lads at some point. Humphrys, Pattison, Sarcevic & Power look like they've got half an Armitage Shanks sink in their gob! Lovely pristine porcelain.
