Sheff Weds could be in a nightmare scenario if Chansiri doesn't put his hand in his pocket for June. They didn't get paid for May and under the laws, if players don't receive agreed payments for two months in a row, those players are able to serve notice of their intention to terminate their contract with just cause. So a lot of players could well be looking to get out of their deals.

They can only sign free agents for the next 18 months, maximum wages they can offer are £7k a week too which lets be honest won't get you far in the champ.

 

It does look like we are building a decent squad for the coming season. We've brought in some strong L1 players who I'm sure aren't coming here just to survive a season in the division, which bodes well.

 

Don't want to get too far ahead of myself but with 3 more quality additions to the ones we have already brought in we really could be the dark horses next season. We will have squad depth which I doubt others will. It certainly looks very rosy at the minute.

 

I potentially see a young loan CB, a young loan ST and an experienced/established CM.

Their fans are in meltdown. They fully expect the higher earners with little resale value to all go. They arw about to sell Cadamateris son to Man City for £1.5m so that will keep the wolf from the door for now.

I think once we saw he wasn't staying at Stockport we jumped in regardless of the Wallace deal and I would suspect he was one of the two players we met in Manchester.

 

The defensive midfielder has to be the big one for me get that signing right we will look really good from the outside.

There's a group of players who if not paid by the end of the month can cancel their contracts, which makes it even stranger. All players were late in being paid for May, but some selectively have had their May pay since and some haven't. Certainly one to keep an eye on if 5/6 good names become free agents all of a sudden at the start of July.
