RWB: Neufville, Halliday
LWB: Touray, Richards?

CM: Power, Pattison, Leigh

LW: Humphrys, Pointon
RW: Sarcevic, Lapsile

ST: Cook, Kavannagh

Most likely to be moved on: Smith, Odour, Wright

so I’d say based on that, we should expect at least:
A striker
CM, or two
Attacking midfielder/right winger
And a Specialist LCB

This is quite bizarre. There are Donny fans and Town fans on twitter praising our transfer business. It's like we're actually being taken seriously again as a football club and it's making me feel a bit disorientated.

 

Bit odd considering some clowns are suggesting Town will walk the division ?

 

Interested to have an initial look at Humphys - covered in tattoos, dyed hair, teeth whitened. Maybe I shouldn’t have made any first impressions as he actually seems deeply religious and tweets quotes from the Bible.

 

He was on their retained list as under discussion for a new contract.

 

Humphrys joined Wigan after Sharpe left in 2019. He also played on loan for Scunthorpe just after Alexander left in 2018.

 

This is how I see it providing we still go 3 at the back as expected.

Tilt or Kelly will likely play LCB with Richards covering

Wright or Baldwin CB with Tilt covering

Baldwin or Byrne RCB with Halliday covering.



As I said to @Sergio Pinto III I agree we need another defender but I personally just don't see us bringing one in. If we do I see it has a young Loanee. There is also untried Goodman who when I saw him at Chorley pre season last year looked a really good prospect if he has improved as expected hence the contract then don't rule him out of being part of the squad.


Something that hasn't really been mentioned since the fans forum is the talk of a possible foreign signing. I wonder if we have someone lined up from abroad but can't say anything just yet.

 

Most Town fans have to use all their fingers to count to 12 so I always take their thoughts and opinions with a pinch of salt.

Heard from someone this morning saying there's been zero interest in any of our players let alone the fringe players and we're interested in a couple of Man City youth players on loan, a midfielder and a defender who have already been on loan last season somewhere

 

Goose talk to me ........thats surprising .........as our fringe players are useless.

 

I know its greedy but a Dan Agyei type signing now would really excite......
