One factor to consider with Touray is that he has played quite a few games for Gambia and played 90 minutes in all 6 of their AFCON qualifiers in the 1st half of last season. He missed the 2 World cup qualifiers in March due to a knock. He wasn't selected for their 2 games at the start of this month but they were only friendlies so suspect he was given time off to sort out his contract situation. With that it looks like we could lose him come the international breaks as they've got 2 games in September and October, ironically he could end up facing Oduor and Wilson if they do the unlikely and force their way back into the Kenya squad. Thankfully Gambia haven't qualified for AFCON this year or we would lose him from mid-December

Seems like a decent enough signing but the stats seem to suggest his strengths lie in defence rather than attack. It’ll be interesting to see where he fits in considering the system we use.

 

I see all 4 wing backs rotating alot next season depending on who we playing.

Seems to not be considered attacking enough for LWB, we already have a plethora of LCB, and he seems to be a trusted GA lieutenant.

Let’s be honest here, it’s more likely we will need top defensive qualities moreso next term . I think GA et al recognise that .Strengthening an already decent defence( bar Shep) is imperative in the division above. Horses for courses !
