he was better than that had a few dodgy games but was far more consistent than most of our players apart from Shepherd and Smallwood

Wealthy owners , willing to throw serious money at a club are becoming the norm these days as opposed to being the exception ?

A very quick , non scientific search , indicated a THIRD of the 72 EFL clubs are US owned..

The proportion of owners of other clubs are also owned by other overseas investors isn’t known , other than MKD Kuwaiti and BCAFC , German?

Long gone are the days when clubs were owned by people like Bob Martin with a tiny shop in Shipley

 

I will say one thing.......Wycombe....... they cant have millions but did okay with team spirit and heart...

 

oooops disregard my last.........es, Wycombe Wanderers have a new owner, Kazakhstan billionaire Mikheil Lomtadze, who purchased a 90% stake in the club. His company, Blue Ocean Partners Ltd, now owns the club. Lomtadze is reportedly worth $5.7 billion (£4.5bn). This influx of capital from a billionaire owner means Wycombe has a significantly stronger financial position.

 

Absolutely loaded if this is right.


Wycombe Wanderers is primarily owned by Feliciana EFL Limited (90%) and Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Group Limited (10%). Feliciana EFL Limited is in turn owned by Blue Ocean Partners II Limited, which is owned by Mikheil Lomtadze. Mikheil Lomtadze is a technology investor and entrepreneur from Kazakhstan.
