Squad contenders rather than squad fillers. What's not to like?

 

Two good players, pushing for that shirt, can only be a good thing
Competition all over the pitch will only make us a better team
We need that up front now

 

I'm still convinced we will see players like Tilt, Halliday and potentially Touray playing in matches away from home when we need to dig in and play a little deeper.
Players like Kelly, Neufville and Richards used in home matches when we are expected to attack.

The way i see it is he's just played 45 league games (including POs) and started 40 of them for the team that finished 3rd, he isn't coming to be anyone's cover I'd say. And he's 30, probably in those prime years now, he isn't signing places to be second fiddle.

 

I'm wondering if we'll see Neufville playing one of the attacking midfield roles at times with Brad behind him? He's certainly more attack focused according to the dons fans so it may help us be more solid against the better teams or at the times we need to give Sarc a rest.

 

Imagine, having a team competitive in every position! My mouth waters!

 

All well and good Jordan but he's still got to perform to keep the shirt and if Richards repeats his form of last year that'll mean we're extremely strong at LWB if Touray is still keeping him out.

The problem is how many back ups do we need? Kelly, Tilt, Huntington, Byrne. We've only got 2 starters in Baldwin and Wright in my opinion. We need at least another 1 starter who is good enough for this league.

 

Hunts won’t be with us , he’s training on a monthly basis .

 

I don't think GA sees Kelly as back up, he seems to really rate him.

 

He started off as a forward wide right or am I dreaming?

 

Did anybody see the tweet from the BCAFC Disability page saying that Touray was to be announced in the new kit? The tweet has since been deleted... Read into that what you will.

I went on assumption it was about Touray as when I clicked it it had deleted

If it was about Windass then stand me corrected!

 

Competition for spots sounds like a good thing to me. WBs are arguably the most important slots in this tactic, so having top options on both sides will only be a great thing for us.

Touray has also played often at LCB, so he could be shifted there too at times and we use him and Richards.

 

Why are you so impatient and wound up then?
