Hey, I'm not one of these that falls for everything but I'm a big believer in coincidences and patterns in stories.
I don't think he will come back but I do believe we've approached him to see how the land lies.

 

Yeah i'd say that's about right. EFL is licensed on FM these days too so you'd like to think they keep things at least roughly in the right lines.

Heard the Windass one weeks ago but to me the wages slone would make it a huge no go unless hes gonna drop his wages big time

 

There would be a fee as well which for a 30+ year old ain't happening. He was linked to the MLS and even a loose link to Valencia so no chance.

Shame because I'd love him here.

 

Windass was being considered by valencia in la liga at the end of the season apparently. Bit ambitious on our behalf to say the least

 

If he had a different surname he wouldnt even be mentioned. A pipe dream.

 

I don’t get the hype around Josh Windass at all. Never been really impressed by him

 

Would be an incredible signing but he's definitely not coming here.

From January, absolutely.

Huddersfield wanted to recall him and Edin made sure he stayed for the rest of the season. Understandable at the time because we was up the shit creek and Payne was our last chance of survival.

 

I remember we were desperate to keep him but after the loan was extended he was a bit average.

 

I thought we were contributing towards his £10k per week. I certainly remember thinking that a reserve from town (nowhere near the first team!) was on £10k a week, wow!!

 

I remember this. Town threatened to recall him if we didn't cough up the extra money in January. They played Rahic like a fiddle.

No he left the following October, he left at half time at Accrington and never returned.
