Don't know if this to do with us but heard George honeyman is being linked with a couple of L1 clubs although Millwall are still in talks about renewing his contract.

Yeh he is getting 6-7k a week tops here. That said with a hefty signing on bonus and a goal/promotion bonus in place you never know.
A few more bums on seats and shirts to be sold too.

I doubt Bristol are offering him £28k a week aged 34.

 

We can only dream, still a fit lad, he'd rip league one a new one, I read somewhere that City were always close to his heart, the springboard to a lucrative and successful career, you never know

 

Didn't the Bristol paper poo-poo that one last summer ish? When the books came out and a breakdown on the spending, they said no player was on over 20k.

Either way, nobody is paying a 35 year old anywhere near that.

He was one of the highest earners but it was Capology and shite like football league world that said £28k. Other sites estimate around £14k.

 

It’s still up in the air. EUFA have postponed making a decision, I think to allow the owners to try to do some manoeuvring to keep within the rules. Needless to say, Forest are pressing hard for Palace to be excluded so that they can take their place.

Other figure seems more in line with what Bristol pay. Capology and Salary Sport have the same disclaimer at the bottom of the team pages that say something like "these figures are estimates" but far too many twitter folk take them as gospel and it spreads. Fairly certain it said we were paying Tyreik about 7/8k a week in L2

 

No wonder he wanted to come back!
