I imagine the underwhelming Marcus Browne. Who’s will be this years Callum Johnson, injury prone/had horrific injuries in their career. We have the naivety to think with our esteemed training facilities and medical staff we rollback the clock and get them firing . Been there seen it unfortunately. Would love it to Ayjei and would definitely be praising if that comes off.

 

Yeah I see what you mean, but surely we can’t class Browne as a centre forward right? I get he’s been playing up top for Wimbledon but surely not haha right?

 

Orient fans convinced Aygei is off as he has turned down a few offers now. Fans seem to think Bradford may have legs as no other club mentioned.

 

He’s got fantastic stats and the quality we need just don’t see us parting with what it will take to get him.

Got to agree with this, out of all the rumours we’ve got probably the most disappointing from what I’ve heard about him. Don’t Wimbledon fans want him to stay though? If I’m not remembering incorrectly then could be a good sign I suppose.

 

Yeah generally they seem to want to keep him. Saying that they’re running out of players! A few of them are also accepting that he probably used them to build up his fitness and get a decent move this summer

 

I’d be delighted with that, a near ever-present for them last season. One of Tayo or Richard’s too hopefully then that’s 2 very good options in each wingback position

 

I had a read of the Stockport forum, they say he’s excellent defensively, but uncomfortable attacking, thus making him a quality LB but a limited wing back. I think he’l be deployed as the left sided CB, and cover Richards on the flank if he’s out of the team for whatever reason

 

Lots of “ sleeping” members appearing in last couple of days , 2018, 2019 and Jan 2023? We must be getting popular , but hey they are talking to each other

 

Browne is a good player who is liked by fans of Wimbledon and also Oxford where he was very popular. His injury woes are his problem sadly but on a short contract might be worth the gamble

Imagine they’re looking to upgrade on Touray especially if the above comment about his attacking abilities is true. If he’s good enough to have started 38 times last season for them as they chased promotion then I’d be confident he’ll be a good option for us. Challinor just signed a new contract with them so imagine he’s confident they’ll continue to back him

 

They’re looking to improve in both areas. Apparently contracts were offered to both Collar and Touray, but more as squad players rather than first teamers, hence why they’re looking elsewhere

 

On the evidently high odds of this referring to me it’s because I’ve only just worked out how these forums work
