Maybe Blackpool are prepared to offer him a better deal - we lead the chase, Blckpool took over - they want him more. The guy is 32, if he was 27/28 then I would be dissapointed and take your point.

 

We've got to be disciplined and get value for money. Offer what we think the player is worth and move on if we can't get it to work.

We’ve been linked with Marcus Browne on and off for a week or so but he isn’t a centre forward.

 

Browne would be a crap signing. Never done anything of note anywhere.

 

He has good L1 experience for a decent Oxford side. Has had 1 or 2 injuries last few years though. He isnt really a forward though...someone who would compete with Bob and Sarc, not Kav and Cook. I think.
