Mmm not sure where you go, but £5.85 a pint, for Dark Star Hophead here on Monday evening.

I was not blaming the council for the listing, more a lambasting for the stupidity of closing it down and not starting the demolition the next day, thus giving opportunity for the events since, which are again eating up precious finance the city can not afford.
Should have worded my statement better.

Ah the good old days, thats when there was actually pubs to go to
I sound more like my old man everyday, god rest his soul.

Usually £6/7 plus in the decent bars around Leeds. I thought that was fairly standard now to be fair.

    That feels wrong.
I’m actually here right now. And the vandalism is ever present.

Figures easily found on the Tand A website, but only up to 2023
Maybe the council gave up caring after that
I did hear they were trying to get it de- listed, but that has all gone quiet.
Maybe they are waiting until it becomes unsafe , then can just knock it down. it seems to be the way around costly renovations for listed buildings.

It averaged out as £12 at the Lyric in soho on Monday evening. One pint Northern Monk (he is a share holder!!) and one of Thornbridge Jaipur @ 5.9% . I think some of the scare story about London prices is over blown. http://www.lyricsoho.co.uk/

Especially if they were aware of different bodies wanting it listing etc.

Dealing with them on a weekly basis mate, they are fully aware around all things listed, especially what Joe public's responsibility is
And their own, blind eyes are often turned. They have bigger fish to fry, as i was told by a quite senior conservation officer.

Any new training ground needs to be easily accessible from an area that footballers find a desirable place to live.

    Not anywhere near Bradford then.

Personally I'd aim for Chesire or Surrey

Yep, they don't have security now.

Think it was a spell just after COVID when they had "things" in the building and there were regular controls sat outside all day and night

Now it's just secured around voting day when they do the counting

You will do well to get a pint for anywhere near £3 on north parade. Found it vastly overpriced when I've visited including £18 for three bottles of warm African lager for the Fleetwood game.

Strong argument that if you can afford to drink on north parade then you can afford to park there too

For safety reasons. It had been left to rot for years and anything worth nicking had been taken and was literally falling down.
