He’s a great player on his day, I’d be gutted if he went. He’s had his shoulder sorted through surgery now aswell.

He's probably signed a new deal. Hopefully just in a coaching capacity and not as an actual squad GK

 

If he's happy to be 3rd choice then I'd have no problem with him being given another 1 year playing deal alongside the coaching. It would also free up Hadi to go out on loan which he massively needs rather than needing to stay around the squad to travel to away games as the 3rd keeper.

 

Walker, Hilton and Hadi will be the 3. But if Hadi goes out on loan whats the harm in Doyle been 3rd choice if his main obligation is to train em? No harm in adding an extra few quid onto his salary as emergency 4th choice.

 

Colin Doyle is one of those who has been around the block but imagine he will look back on his time with us as his favourite spell. His kids are City fans anyway.

Its nice, as a lower league club how players come and go but still have that emotional investment with us. Morais, G Jones, L Mills arent from Bradford and wernt with us long but they talk about us glowingly. You can probably add J Walker into that convo now.

Hasn't he just extended his contract with Sheffield Wednesday after a great season for them? Don't think he's ready to drop down the leagues yet.

I think the suggestion he would sign for us is fantasy. However he probably isn't getting his wages on time at the moment!

 

Club exercised the option, probably so they could command a fee. Was out of JW's hands. Doesnt mean he cant leave the club.
