Summer 2025 transfer rumours

I get the impression we won't be shopping in the same pool as Huddersfield, Blackpool, Bolton, Wigan etc plus the relegated clubs.

Loan signings are going to be crucial for us and getting the right ones.

 

We've seen players from the National League and League 2 go to the SPL and do well, so giving him a bumper 4 year contract based off a 6 month spell in the SPL is a bit risky? That signing doesn't concern me too much.

 

Totally agree 33 goals in 9 years and Wrexham's 6th choice striker isn't great reading. I'd have taken Mullin before Dalby.

 

TBF Wrexham wanted to keep him, offered a deal so must think he has something.

Yeh the eyes emoji seems like a tease. They always use that when something is bubbling in the background.

 

This is probably just advertising but if we are to make a signing, it would make sense to announce it at fans forum Wednesday? If anything today I'd think we're more likely to hear about Kelly or Richards contracts

Just don’t see where we go under Rupp. Only 3 spots as you say those clubs will be there of there abouts, not including Stockport and Plymouth who are loaded and Cardiff who will go for it. You look at the championship who will drop down next season and they’re all well heeled clubs. Think we are stuck at this level / trying to stay in it until we get huge injection of cash and ambitions. Won’t happen in my opinion.

 

That's exactly the right wording, you can sign players all year round but can only register them in the windows. You would think these octogenarians would know this having been round for so long

Atkinson at the T&A has written an article about Wells returning. Arguing the cases for and against. He signs off saying its unlikely but then hints at Nathan Lowe like he has maybe heard something.

Before we get to tomorrow evening i'm after either a) stellar striker to take over the Cook role or b) midfield general to be a reight captain courageous (Mr Jones or Stuart or Mr Vincelot) and provide the energy and drive. Preferably under 30 but I'll trust the managers judgement.
