Summer 2025 transfer rumours

I am on about that we would complete two signings this week which certain people called me out for.

 

That what I'm talking about too. Two signings this week was mentioned.

 

Signed for them in Jan on a deal to the end of the season
So free agent apparently
Scored 4 in 16, which is decent enough
We do have plenty of attacking midfielders though.

 

I think both Ty and Leigh could have gone on frees. We probably just paid off their contracts at their end so it cost Peterborough and MK nothing to shift them.

That seems to be the way of it these days. What amounts those were I guess we'll never know, but I think we can offload Leigh if we want to. It won't be so much we simply have to force him into the team.

 

Just needs that pre-season !

If he can stay fit he'd be good but he's another with a catalogue of issues. He had a really bad ACL injury when he was at Middlesbrough and since then he's just been constantly picking up hamstring injuries when he was at Oxford. He picked up his last really bad hamstring injury August 2023 and was out until December, he came back and lasted 12 minutes before doing his hammy again. He had two short term hamstring issues in his short time at Wimbledon too it seems.

 

Nowhere have I said that we wouldn’t sign 2 players this week, although it’s hardly worth giving yourself a pat on the back for anyway. Most posters on here could have predicted that news, especially when one of the players we’d signed had already been confirmed publicly. If you could actually give a couple of names that sign for us I’d say fair play to you but in the meantime, have fun talking to your imaginary source.

You've been posting here, on and off, for years and C & B. Imo you've added a degree of insight.

 

If he stayed fit he'd be good, he was in the year behind Cullen in our Academy.
Loads of talent but I always got the impression that he felt he didn't need to try harder.

 

Why if people don’t like peoples input just ignore it instead of insulting and pulling people down

 

It was the way it came across maybe I should know better at my age but others have some have serious ego issues and don't like others with info

 

Have a word with yourself, the transfer window is open we're going to be signing players. You're non committal and cast a wide net. What next? We're definitely signing a right footed player.

 

Personally I don't think he's any good.

Looks like he can pass if given time, but a poor attacker and not physical at all.

Might be wrong though. It's been known to happen!! Haha

 

End of the day you didn't like my input for some reason maybe look in the mirror before criticising others that might know something

 

I think he gets a clean start and pre season. His L1 record is better than most of our MF if memory serves me. Hopefully ups his game. Useful as he can fill in a few positions too.

 

What do people think of ryan stirk 24 yr old out on contract at Walsall and doesn't look like renewing there. Played over 40 games in holding midfield. (was brought to Mansfield by david Sharpe in 2021 when they got to play offs and played alot of games with lapslie)

 

I heard some gossip this week. Its been passed down through a few sources but.........a former owner of ours has been praising Rupp and said he has set aside a very large sum of money to invest into the club.

Now that doesnt neccesarilly mean huge transfer fees anytime soon, but money to invest in improving the club from top to bottom.
