McCall signing I think loan from Scotland

 

A McCall signing a week before McCall took over.

Signed the night before we played Oldham (or Salford) just prior to bowyer getting sacked.

He admitted in the radio interview that day he had seen much of him and Rhodes had signed him on McCall's recommendation.

The Accrington thing worries me.

After McCartan and Leigh, it's become apparent one or two good seasons playing on a pub car park doesn't translate to playing for a proper club.

 

Good player who can score and assist from midfield.but loves a card. He would cost a fee as only signed an extension earlier this year.

 

He has two years left on his contract so it would cost us a decent fee

He does state though the budget for the coming season is the budget we got relegated on, so from his words earlier in the peice around £4.2m, which I think is slightly below average given what was shared on here earlier around the 23/24 financial report from league one?

Even though that's below average I still reckon it will be above that of around 6/7 teams in the division

 

Halliday and Platt were ex Acci too.

 

Thanks for the heads up on this. Just watched it. Thought Sparks presented the club and himself well. After watching it I don’t get the impression we’ll be signing the likes of Curtis Tilt.

The only reason his name is being mentioned is because he scored against Walsall.

 

Got to admit it was a belter though and boy did it help us!

 

TBF I think Crichlow, Huntington and Tayo helped. They were all additions after that was posted. We then went on a terrific run, keeping clean sheet after clean sheet. Byrne missed a huge chunk of that run.

 

Fraser Horsfall has signed for Blackpool.
Surely they won’t want Pearson as well?

 

That’s an excellent signing for Blackpool. Would have taken Horsfall in a heartbeat.

 

It’s a big loss for Stockport

 

Town were in for him too and he’s from there. Blackpool have given him a four year deal.
