Apparently they offered him a new deal so maybe we look out for the "turned it down" announcement first?

Did someone mention Dan Agyei a few weeks back? Or am I imaging that? Anyways, Orient have put out their retained list today and he's "still in discussions" with the club.

We were linked with him publicly when he signed for Orient.

 

Ultimately it is cheating and a form of simulation but it is widely accepted and encouraged in football as it takes pressure off the defence, unfortunately football doesn't reward honesty. Shepherd was a master at winning these type of free kicks and probably the best since McMahon at it

You keep scoffing at these posts but I stand by my source. They said it’s hard our wages just don’t match.

 

I mentioned him after the league 1 final that he was a player I've really liked since I saw him play against us for Burnley in preseason then his debut for Coventry against us. For me he would be the perfect replacement for Sarcevic but i wouldn't be surprised if there were quite a few league 1 clubs looking at him.

 

I brought his name up after he ripped Town a new one on the final day. He looked sensational.

 

“Replacement for Sarcevic”?

 

As a regular starter instead of Sarcevic as we know Sarcevic will struggle to start 30+ games with his injury issues and Agyei is a player we could have a few years with us whereas I wouldn't be surprised if Sarcevic is released when his deal ends next summer

 

Tilt would be an atrocious signing. I literally cannot think of a single positive of signing a player like this when quality upgrades were so clearly needed.

If this is the market we're shopping in then it's going to be a long season.

 

I don’t disagree and hoping it’s nonsense. I’m not impressed with any of business so far and that included bringing in Power who has barely kicked a ball in 2 years. Seems Sharpe has asked if he fancies a game in league one
Smallwood would have been absolutely fine in league 1 even on a 2 year contract. We will need players with experience next season and I’m abit miffed as to why we have parted ways.

I'm on the fence with Power. On the one hand he's got a good rep and has played at a good level but the last couple of years is a bit of a red flag and it wouldn't surprise me if he was a flop.

 

Tell us about him. I’ve not seen him play myself so don’t have any knowledge of his ability.
