Had a look at the stats and McEachren from Grimsby was top 10 for both tackles and interceptions. Good age too

 

Tyrese fornah was on loan this season at Salford from derby. Been released at end of season 25 yr old 6 ft 1 defensive mid played 43 games for Salford this season, played 20 games for Derby in league 1 last season. This is way we should be looking younger player but played plenty of games

Sounds like Tilt is happening. He's started following the club on social media too. First news story info came from a guy who has over 120k followers on Twitter and looks well connected.

 

Signing him would make the Smallwood saga a mockery

 

I’m hoping it’s a rumour that makes us all worried he will actually sign so when we do sign another player nobody has heard of we will be just relieved it wasn’t him

Are league one players asking for so much in wages they are pricing some clubs out of the market
If we were the highest wage bill of the four clubs that got promoted, how can the others compete
22 players at £5000 per week is a £5.7 million wage bill, apparently we were over the £4 million mark last season
With the bigger sky payment.

We just have to sign quality in that midfield it is the engine. Having pushed Smallwood through the door the club has to come up with better. Salford had some poor players last season; no idea about this one Tilt, but the comments on here from my fellow fans is not encouraging.
