I think we need a good left sided central defender to compete with Kelly and to replace Shepherd who will be a hard act to follow. If Tayo returns and I hope he does he needs of a quality and strong defender beside him

 

I will stay something about Kav... he has the nack of always being in the right spot when crosses come in or throw ins....Thats a skill.... the rest can be taught... he is okay with another proper target man

This reminds of Hughes first summer window when there was that rumour about us signing a player nobody would believe (think it started from Mark Lawn ).

Funnily enough I remember calling him out on the old message board for the exact same thing and this was several years ago now. For reasons only known to Ricky he seems to enjoy pretending to have exclusive, insider knowledge even though he clearly knows F all.

I swear we hear this rumour every single transfer window only to announce a rarely used squad player from Stockport or something.

Isn't this thread titled "Summer 2025 transfer rumours" until confirmed by the club stuff posted at the moment are no more than that, chill out instead of trying to point score.

For the likes of @Goose and @Tolly856 a certain few people on here know I have links in and outside the club and on my post above this is from the latter to which I haven't been able to confirm or deny with the other person as of yet however this same individual is the same person who when everyone on here was calling the Charlie wyke deal dead in the water a few seasons ago I said it was done to which i got flak about yet many of you had egg on your faces in the end. He was also the same person who said Alex Jones was signing at around the same time again I posted on here well before the club announced him . ( Go check the previous message from them if you like but you will see I posted). This is isn't about me trying to pass on BS to get reactions you can honestly take it or leave it but overall over the years I have got more right than wrong when posting about possible transfers.

Not that it matters but unfortunately this person until early this year worked away from football for a few years so the information died down from him hence why my posts weren't as often in here until recently and why I spent a couple of years away from this forum altogether.

The in house person at city to who I have a connection with I have to be careful to what I can and can't post but that person hasn't said much in the last week or so anyway.

Now you can take all my post as BS I really don't care but the ones who know me on here know my information is usually more on the money than not.

It's a transfer rumour thread and for what it's worth your contribution in my opinion holds more credibility than the man in the pub replies.
The window is open and inevitably now players are returning from their holidays movement at most clubs will increase.
Bradford are no different with the conclusion of deals for more than one arrival expected in the coming fortnight I'm told by someone who is also in warmer climates at present but doesn't need to be in residence at VP.
