I mean, you're entitled to your opinion but I'm certainly not going to judge anyone displaying such raw emotion in those circumstances after what we've been through as City fans. (and no, I didn't go on the pitch at all, if it makes any difference).

I don’t agree with that. I think somehow they believe it is some kind of rights of passage. Plus my view which links in with the ‘entitlement’ running through our society today.

well as we are discussing people going on the pitch I thought that would be self explanatory.

Someone brought up the intelligence of society so I thought I would link it with what we were discussing

I went on the pitch for the first time ever at 45 years old and I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to get to do it again someday! Made a great day more special!!!

any fine the club get should be divided between those they can identify.

Im sure people were suggesting similar when there was a threat of a fine for racist shouts and setting off of flares

I had a cherry flavour as I was driving, my son drinks zero, but that didn't effect my enjoyment in any way.

If it makes you feel better, which reading your posts I genuinely think it would, I'd be happy to pay my little bit along with the thousands of others on that pitch after the final whistle. Cos in this perfect world you seem to live in I guess I'm guilty of breaching the rules of not encroaching on the playing surface at Valley Parade for what was a once in a lifetime never yo be seen again moment in our history. I was on the pitch after the Liverpool game, do you want me to chuck in a few quid for that 'misdemeanour' as well?

if the club is fined and those responsible can be traced then I think the club should pass on the fine no matter what the fine is for. So if it is for setting flares off, racist abuse, pitch invasions etc where fans have caused the fine and are identifiable then yes I think the club should pass the cost on.
It isn’t much to ask to ask people to stick to a few simple rules for a few hours whilst in the ground. But there again it does seem to be which goes back to my comment about the general intelligence and also someone else comment about people’s entitlement to do what they want.

Note, just for clarification, you are mentioning thousands of people experiencing a once in a life time feeling togetherness on the pitch AFTER the final whistle, celebrating with players, manager and other on field staff in the same sentence as someone using racially motivated behaviour or setting off a pyrotechnic? Because that's what you've just quoted and you then bang on about intelligence.
Sometimes in this world people do things they are told they shouldn't and yet it shouldn't be treated with the same disdain as other things that they shouldn't do. Our owner took the right thought with this one where he alluded to himself paying any fine given because the price of that fine was worth the priceless memories fans have being on that pitch .Again, note I do not condone the invasions before the whistle but a modicum of intelligence tells you people react differently when emotions are thrown into the mix.
But hey, if you wanna climb on the moral high horse, get looking through that CCTV and you tube footage, go get those nasty criminals.

In terms of running on the pitch during a game, sorry but just don't get it.

I celebrated the goal with my family like I was a teenager again, but stayed in the lower kop. I simply cannot get my head around how running on the pitch would make that feeling any better?

You are joking aren’t you? Just checking…..

Rupp said any fine was worth it or similar, in his social media post? They were morons on, the second time especially, but third time nobody gives a stuff once FT whistle has gone.
