He hadn't though. You're just cherry picking stats to make him look better than he is which is why no one is taking your opinion seriously.

Kav had a decent end to the season, hopefully kicks on but has a way to go to convince me he has been a successful signing (by no means a bad one). Sure im not the only one.

 

Simple really, in L2 he's had 74 apps, 11 goals, that doesn't scream prolific

I’m not sure where you’re getting your stats from but they’re wrong.

So your stats were out of date? Best to use up to date to avoid confusion. Especially if we are including spells off the bench when he was an 18 year old.

Plus assists which I didn’t bother to check. Much more relevant.

 

At his age, stats don't mean a lot. What were Nahki's stats at his age? Whereas I don't think he will end up as good as Nahki, we should be asking whether or not he is improving as a team performer and has he done well for the team.

 

Better. I’ve had this argument with people before. Not far off Cook’s at a higher level either.

 

Original point was that as a signing he has been successful, which like you said it’s rare for us to have success signing a striker. Given what he’s achieved this season whilst leading the line on his own I think he’s a success, and his stats for this season are good. If he’d spent this season on loan to us and we then signed him permanently this summer I’d be pleased with that.

 

Regardless, Kav will be 3rd choice striker next season IMO. He is going to have to do more and improve his strike rate if he wants to lead our line.

 

Not necessarily he has another years experience he may make the step up well

 

His work rate and pressing are phenomenal. One of the hardest working forwards I’ve seen.

That won’t be in the stats though.

 

I think Kav will do better against the L1 CBs who are less physical I think he will do well this year
