    Seen him quite a few times.

    Used to perform at the Tavern in the Town in the1970's.

    Seen Argent a good few times as well.

    I saw him only recent in Barnoldswick of all places. A friend of mine who was with me was chatting to John after the gig and they were reminiscing about the Tavern in the Town. Although John is several years older than my friend, they played on the same circuit which included the Tavern. My friend said you can forget Clapton and the many Kings, John Verity really was God in his teenage eyes!

    Getting to really like them. Didn't know what to think about them tbh, I was expecting metal and was initially a bit disappointed but basically, ignoring any labels they're just a bloody good band.

    In homage to the musical genius Brian Wilson, who sadly passed away this week, been listening to the Beach Boys this week.

    My huge musical collection doesnt contain much 60s music, however, it does contain Beatles and Beach Boys.

    In my opinion Brian Wilson wrote 3 of the most glorious harmonious songs of all time in God Only Knows, Don't Worry Baby and Good Vibrations. Everytime I hear the opening bars of those 3 classics, it brings a warm smile to my face.

    RIP Brian Wilson

    Do you know the Surf’s Up album? Some psych masterpieces on there, eg Feel Flows, Long Promised Road and the title track. Wonderful stuff.

    Metallica - ...And Justice for All

    Not my photos, but it's the 37th anniversary of seeing them for the first time. Spent over 3 hours on the front row, it was hotter than the sun with my denim jacket on. Amazing night.
